Crazy Talk! Or is it?

Quote of the Day

Why do Republicans still fight for their beliefs knowing they will be wiped out, like any other minority group in history? Their beliefs are archaic and improper, so why fight against the advancement of the human species?

Anonymous question from Quora

You have to wonder… Yes, it is crazy talk. But, it could be Russian or other bad guy trying to stir things up. Or it could be just some troll getting their jollies. But it also has a small chance of being someone sincerely believing what they are saying and not afraid to say, “the quiet part out loud”. Hitler’s Mein Kampf wasn’t taken serious by the majority of people when it was first written either but within a few years the mindset took over a nation.

Ideas are more dangerous than tools…

Declare Gun Owners Terrorists and Send Them to Gitmo

Quote of the Day

Should the government declare gun owners as terrorists and send them to Gitmo so that way guns can be banned without violating the Second Amendment?

Trolls can be entertaining. But sometimes it is difficult to distinguish between those entertaining themselves and people who are completely serious.

Who is this “we”? And I see the process a little differently after a few raids.

Attack on innocent people –> SWAT communications jammed –> SWAT vehicles disabled with .30 and/or .50 caliber AP rounds –> SWAT team members go down –> survivors surrender –> Trial of survivors and those who sent them –> Prison and/or executions.

Don’t ever let anyone get away with telling you that no one wants to take your guns.

This was not a solitary response from the anti-gun people. There are a lot of them.

I’m not the first to observe this but these people like to dance in the blood of mass shooting victims. How else do you explain the outrage that the murderer was stopped so quickly by a private citizen?

It doesn’t take much extrapolation to lead you to wondering why you don’t see them expressing any concern about our march to socialism going through a Stalinist phase like the USSR and its deaths of 10s of millions.

I find it hard to believe they are ignorant of this risk. And they even sometimes “say the quiet part out-loud” (lots more here). Hence, I’m inclined to believe they see the deaths of millions of their adversaries as a “feature” rather than a “bug”.

They want you to die shivering, hungry, and in the dark

This is fascinating in a horrifying sort of way:

Why we must nationalize Big Oil

… the government should nationalize Big Oil. That would allow the government to manage the industry’s drawdown, a process the private sector is ignoring.

“We will likely need to take over and decommission the large fossil fuel extraction corporations that are both one of the leading causes of climate change and one of the primary institutional impediments to addressing,” Hanna concludes.

The federal government typically nationalizes companies to save them. In this case, it must nationalize Big Oil to save us all from a future we don’t want.

“Drawdown” is this character’s euphemism for controlled destruction.

They are referring to the manufacturer of a product that provides the energy to produce and transport food to billions of people who would otherwise die. This product is the basis of the worlds greatest triumphs over poverty, hunger, shelter, transportation, and pestilence. And these people want to deliberately destroy access to it.

To the best of my knowledge nothing of this sort has ever before been advocated, not even by the most evil communist regimes the planet has ever seen. This would be the deliberate murder of the vast majority of the world population.

Yes, people have been saying the deliberate and violent extinction of humans is what the environmental fascists “really want”. But prior to this the worst I have actually seen is the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement.

Prepare appropriately.

Why are anti-gun people so violent?

Yesterday morning I got a phone call. It went something like this:

Caller (voice of a young woman): Is this Joe Huffman?
Joe: Yes.
Caller: I’m <full name>. I live in <state>. You have a tweet of mine on your blog. It says, “<two sentences giving insight into why the right to keep and bear arms is important>”. I still believe that. But even though I have deleted my twitter account people are still able to connect me with that tweet. I’m getting a lot of hate mail and death threats because of that. I’m only <age> years old. I can’t really deal with this. Can you remove that blog post?
Joe: I’m in meeting at work right now. If you will send me an email with a link to the blog post so I can find it easily I’ll take it down later today. Can you do that?
Caller: Yes. I can do that. Thank you sir.

Thank you so much for your help sir.

I find it very telling that both the anti-gun people are sending out death threats and that they are targeting a woman so young she cannot legally purchase a handgun rather than me.

Why are they so violent? It’s part of their nature.

Why are they targeting a young woman with her right to keep and bear arms infringed by the government rather than me? That is a rhetorical question. We all know the answer. And this gives us all the information we need to know about what they will do if we are disarmed.

I wish I could reproduce that tweet without increasing her risk. Her experience demonstrates the accuracy of her tweet.

“udryd den” is Danish for “eradicate it”.

“deutschland den deutschen” is German for “Germany for the Germans”.

“demokratische lander” is German for “democratic countries”. I’m not sure about the rest of the text. But you should be able to get the idea.

One has to wonder if the Washington Post cartoonist has a final solution to the problem of the Republicans.

Quote of the day—BLM Activist

You can’t talk about education, and you can’t talk about black issues, and LGBT issues, and exclude them as if they’re some individual issue; you need to be looking at this using intersectionality.

It means recognizing that there is one common enemy: the white man. The systems that they use are capitalism, patriarchy, and fascism. They were created and perpetuated by white men, for white men, in the interests of white men.

And once we realize that we are all fighting the same fight, it just strengthens the army. A problem shared is a problem halved. Imagine if we all realized and came together and grouped together?

All of these groups of people, the issues they face, it all comes from the same people: white men. So we need to get rid of them.
