I was referred to this by In Chains @InChainsInJail. Zheng then told me not to procreate. I suspect what she really meant was that she wants me dead, but even if she was just passing judgement on my fitness for parenthood, that she thinks she should be able to make a decision like that for others is very telling. Anti-gun people are tyrants with, at most, a thin veneer of respectability.

How does this person think they know that? From personal experience with a large enough sample size?

Of course, do not expect anti-gun person to use data and/or rational thought to determine truth from falsity. Peterson Syndrome is a real thing. These people tend to not have a means of determining truth from falsity. They have beliefs based on nothing but faith. And the anti-gun people who are rational and use data to determine how to know things are consummate liars. It is part of their culture.

Or, most likely, it was just a childish insult when they couldn’t defend their beliefs.

This is deliberately deceptive framing. Technically they are correct about words. Just like guns, words don’t kill people kill people. But that does not mean words/ideas are not dangerous.

As pointed out by Stalin, words/ideas are more dangerous than guns:

Ideas are far more powerful than guns. We don’t let our people have guns. Why should we let them have ideas?

He is invoking reason and in the same sentence he claims guns are penis extensions. If someone were to use this line of “reasoning” in a novel the editor would send it back to the author for a rewrite.

Hence, we have another data point to demonstrate truth is stranger than fiction because fiction has to make sense.
