Or, we could just add them to the list of people who resort to Markley’s Law in the first few seconds of discussion and laugh at them.

The AR-15 is modelled after a military grade M16 assault weapon. Ignore that this veteran is /grossly/ violating his oath. Instead, consider the verbiage.

Doesn’t he sound like the /classic/ abuser? “Look what you made me do.” “Why did you make me do this?”

All the while, /he/ won’t be the one at the front of the stack. Typical bully.

All personality disorders share two things. One is that nothing is ever their fault. It is always the fault of the victim of their abuse What you see above is more crazy talk that is so typical of anti-gun people.

My counselor and books I have read on how to deal with these type of crazy people have told me the way to deal with them is as follows:

  1. Tell them their behavior is unacceptable.
  2. Tell them there will be consequences if they violate the behavior rules.
  3. If they violate the rules make certain they suffer the consequences.

As my counselor told me, “Live will not be peaceful, but it will be much better than if you just take the abuse.” It’s time to stop the abuse.—Joe]

Quote of the day—Amy Swearer

Reason demands that true courage be defined by a person’s willingness to defend the life and liberty of himself and those around him.

Disarming law-abiding citizens demands, on the other hand, that courage be defined by a person’s trust in the police to imprison the correct suspect after the person is already dead.

That is not only absurd, but dangerous.

Why Is London Imposing ‘Knife Control’? Because Gun Control Hasn’t Worked
[Also of note in the same article:

It’s important to note that comparisons of homicide rates between the United States and the United Kingdom are difficult because since 1967, the U.K.’s official definition of homicide for crime reports has been relatively unconcerned with the actual number of dead bodies.

Instead, the country only counts as homicides those instances where a person is convicted of murder—meaning justifiable homicides and deaths where no suspect is caught or convicted are excluded.

Every death on the streets of London is an utter tragedy, and I am deeply concerned about the rise in knife crime over recent years. It is time for a new approach. Foolish liberals who are trying to read the Second Amendment out of the Constitution by claiming it’s not an individual right or that it’s too much of safety hazard don’t see the danger of the big picture.  They’re courting disaster by encouraging others to use the same means to eliminate portions of the Constitution they don’t like.

[I am reminded of US v. Miller (emphasis added):

The signification attributed to the term Militia appears from the debates in the Convention, the history and legislation of Colonies and States, and the writings of approved commentators. These show plainly enough that the Militia comprised all males physically capable of acting in concert for the common defense. “A body of citizens enrolled for military discipline.” And further, that ordinarily, when called for service these men were expected to appear bearing arms supplied by themselves and of the kind in common use at the time.

And of US v. Heller (emphasis added):

as we have
explained, that the sorts of weapons protected were those
“in common use
at the time.”

I find it odd that a U.S. District Judge has such poor reading comprehension skills. Perhaps Alzheimer’s has taken it’s toll and it’s time for him to get professional care. Or was it someone had blackmail material on him?

The crazy years

In one of Heinlein’s books, Methuselah’s Children, he briefly mentioned “the crazy years” (see also here and here for more on the topic) which lead to a breakdown of society. He wrote it in 1958 and was referring to a time of approximately the early 1970s. DON’T DO THAT!!!!

Even if this is true, unexpected by rational people, and newsworthy DON’T publish this sort of stuff about mass murderers:

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Mass murderer [scum bag] is getting stacks of fan mail and love letters sent to the Broward County jail, along with hundreds of dollars in contributions to his commissary account.

Teenage girls, women and even older men are writing to the Parkland school shooter and sending photographs – some suggestive – tucked inside cute greeting cards and attached to notebook paper with offers of friendship and encouragement. Groupies also are joining Facebook communities to talk about how to help the killer.

The murderer getting attention and fame is a big part of why we have copycats. Yes, we have a First Amendment that protects this publication, but an irresponsible media that publishes even the names of mass shooters bears far more responsibility for copycat murders than the NRA and all gun owner in the U.S. combined.

I have to believe they want more mass shootings. They cannot be that stupid. They cannot have such total crap for brains and still be able to breathe on their own.

Quote of the day—Ken Levy

Lies and ignorance are the best they can muster

Lots of examples here but the conclusion is:

If “gun control” extremists actually want to ban “weapons of war”… why are they not calling for actual weapons of war to be banned with their zombie “assault weapon ban”?

And if all they want to do with this rotting, shambling piece of legislation is only ban “weapons of war” – as they’ve been trying to proclaim for nearly a month now – then why is all that other stuff included in the blast radius?

Perhaps they have no idea what they are talking about.
And perhaps they are being… less than honest.

To answer the question, it is because lies and ignorance are the best they can muster.
