Other things the government can’t stop:

  • Spam email
  • Phishing email
  • Poverty
  • Homelessness
  • Illegal immigration
  • Theft
  • Robbery
  • Terrorism
  • Black markets (including all recreational drugs such as cigarettes, alcohol, etc.)

The government can punish many of those things and reduce the frequency by increasing the cost, but it cannot stop it. What is interesting to me, is that most black markets are created by the government. I’ve read that anytime a tax goes above 15% a black market will form.

But more to the intended point, when seconds count the cops are only minutes away.

News on Greater Idaho

It appears things are moving along toward several East Oregon counties joining Idaho:

Greater Idaho told DailyMail.com they are confident that as more western Oregonians hear about the measures they will support letting the eastern part of the state go, and cited a 2022 poll which supported their prediction.

‘The poll showed that voters don’t want to hold counties captive that don’t consent to Oregon government. It showed that only 3% of the voters of northwestern Oregon think that keeping these counties captive is worth the annual cost to the state budget.’

‘And it showed that many would welcome the chance for western Oregon to make its own decisions without interference and obstruction from eastern Oregon. Already, 68% of voters want their state government to look into moving the state line.’

Only 3% of the people in the progressive area want to keep the rebel counties! 68% of the entire state are fine with it. There is not much more that I can envision being a serious blockage to the change. In my mind, it was always going to boil down to the socialists and communists in the large population centers wanting to retain power over the uneducated, in-bred, country bumpkins. If the report is true then I was very mistaken.

Gun control for thee but not for me

Quote of the Day

The year of 2021 ended as one of the most violent on record in Chicago, as a rise in the number of shootings left more people dead than in any single year in a quarter century, according to statistics released by the police department on Saturday.

According to the department, 2021 ended with 797 homicides. That is 25 more than were recorded 2020, 299 more than in 2019 and the most since 1996. And there were 3,561 shooting incidents in 2021, which is just over 300 more than were recorded in 2020 and a staggering 1,415 more shooting incidents than were recorded in the city in 2019.

2021 Ends as Chicago’s Deadliest Year in a Quarter Century

3,561 shootings and 797 homicides in a single year! They don’t say how many of those were justified self-defense but regardless, that is nearly 10 shootings and over two dead each day.

Of course, the mayor thinks the solution is more gun control:

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot called for more federal gun control in response to the rising gun violence that has plagued her city this year.

Of course gun control is not for everyone:

Progressive Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has been secretly protected by a specialist squad of more than 70 cops — one set up the same year she pushed to slash $80 million from the police budget, according to reports.

Chicago police’s previously unknown Unit 544 has 65 officers along with five sergeants and a lieutenant assigned to protect the mayor — on top of her personal bodyguard detail of about 20 officers, the Chicago Sun-Times revealed Monday, citing public records.

Gun control for private citizens and 85 armed police officers to protect her in one of the most criminally violent cities in the nation. That makes sense, if your goal is the destruction of the city.

In unrelated news Lori Lightfoot becomes the first Chicago mayor in 40 years to lose re-election.

How Republicans Started Slavery and the KKK

Quote of the Day

• In 1854, the Republican Party was formed to oppose the Kansas-Nebraska Act, which intended to spread slavery into American territory. Furthermore, Republicans were at the forefront of the effort to demolish the Confederate States of America (1861-65).

image

• On January 1, 1863, Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican president, issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which emancipated enslaved Black people during the Civil War.

image

• The Civil War wasn’t North v. South, as illustrated in the Lincoln-Douglas debates in the northern state of Illinois. It was a Democrat-against-Republican battle.

image

• The notorious Dred Scott decision (blacks were property) in 1857 was decided by a Supreme Court majority of 7 Democratic justices in favor and 2 Republican judges against.

image

• After the war ended on April 9, 1865, Southern Democrats who despised Black people formed the Ku Klux Klan. Surprisingly, White Republican militias aimed to eliminate the KKK.

image

• Jim Crow laws were enacted by Southern Democrat-dominated state legislatures in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century to impose racial segregation and undo political/economic gains made by Black people during Reconstruction.

image

• By 1900, more than 20 black Republicans had served in Congress. Democrats did not elect a single black representative until 1935. Until 1979, every black senator was a Republican.

image

• When federal troops withdrew from the South after reconstruction ended, Democrats’ white supremacy laws re-emerged with a vengeance, enforced by the paramilitary arm of the Democratic Party, the KKK, which was used to suppress blacks from voting Republican.

image

• Democrats are also the party of abortion. Planned Parenthood, was established by eugenics racists. • Margaret Sanger, was designed to eradicate the “undesirables,” and this practice continues today, with more black infants aborted in New York City than are born.

image

• Democrat Woodrow Wilson re-segregated many federal agencies and screened the racist film Birth of a Nation at the White House.

image

• Democrat FDR, declined to welcome four-time gold medallist Jessie Owen (a diehard Republican) to the White House and incarcerated 120,000 Japanese Americans.

image

• Against the desires of Democrat governor Orval Faubus, Eisenhower reintegrated the military and imposed school integration in Little Rock. • Democrat LBJ started the welfare state and said “I’ll have those n#@!rs voting Democrat for the next 200 years,”

image

• Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton, both Democrats, promote black victimization. The party advocates racial identity politics as a result of its policies’ catastrophic failure, which continues to harm black people and demonstrates its disdain for blacks.

image

• Opposition to school choice traps black students in failed schools. Politically correct police has made blacks victims of violent crimes.

• In 2019, 9 unarmed blacks were slain by police (the figure is 19 for white people), whereas over 2,000 blacks were murdered by other blacks in 2018, and Democrats have had monopolistic control of ALL the cities we hear and read about black plight: Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit..

image

If Democrats truly cared about black people, they would treat abortion as a tragedy, support school choice, work to end the failed welfare state, abandon the idea of defunding police, promote advancement based on merit and character rather than the amount of melanin in your skin.

image

We need to end open borders that flood the market with cheap labor and steal jobs from black Americans, end their support for minimum wage laws that lead to higher black unemployment and end their social justice mantle.

We have been fed lies, it’s time to be hungry for truth.

For everyone that don’t know me. I take my name serious: the titles are intentionally misleading; liberals are so brainwashed now that the only way to get them to see and accept truth is leading them in with a lie. Thank you all for your endless support. The narrative will break.

Leaked ATF Docs Reveal ‘Aggressive’ Push To Shut Down Gun Stores

Under the Biden Administration, ATF has changed its focus from regulating the gun industry to destroying it by whatever means possible—eliminating access to firearms by putting as many gun dealers as possible out of business.

There was at least a 200% increase in FFL revocations since enactment of ATF’s Zero Tolerance policy. Of course, license revocations are a lengthy process, and this number almost certainly will continue to increase. Compare Biden’s Zero Tolerance policy to ATF’s prior policy:

Zero Tolerance: “ATF will revoke a federal firearms license, absent extraordinary circumstances on initial violations.”

Prior Guidance: “ATF may revoke a federal firearms license under appropriate circumstances based on an initial set of violations.

Even worse, ATF is using a history of good behavior and compliance with federal law against FFLs. Under Biden’s Zero Tolerance, now even a history of compliance, followed by a single unintentional mistake, may be used as proof of a so-called “willful” violation.

I hope they kept good records of all the people involved in this. And I hope the people responsible enjoy their trials.

Long term, I have hope the ATF will be found to be unconstitutional in regards to the regulation of firearms. Where in the history and tradition of the 2nd Amendment prior to, or at the time of, the 14th Amendment did such an agency and function exist?

If people were serious about stopping mass school murders

There are numerous potential ways to reduce the risk of mass murders at schools. But to the best of my knowledge there is one way that, for all practical purposes, reduces the risk to zero: As I have said before, eliminate the massing of students in one place.

But, since you almost never hear this offered as a solution one must conclude the vast majority of people have something else as a higher priority that stopping these mass murders.

The political left dances in the blood at these events. So, I understand why they aren’t all that serious about stopping them. But what about those of other political persuasions?

Joe Biden appears to have run out of time

Quote of the Day

President Joe Biden appears to have run out of time to pass a ban on so-called “assault weapons.”

Not only has he lost control of Congress, where he had focused his legislative efforts to stop the sales of modern sporting rifles, but he is losing the support of the public in his bid to take away the most popular firearm ever.

In the latest Quinnipiac University poll, 48% oppose Biden’s ban, 47% support it. While obviously the nation is split, the numbers do not show the overwhelming support that the president and liberal democrats have been banking on.

Math isn’t taught in Baltimore

Quote of the Day

Baltimore City’s math scores were the lowest in the state. Just 7 percent of third through eighth graders tested proficient in math, which means 93 percent could not do math at grade level.

But that’s not all; Project Baltimore combed through the scores at all 150 City Schools where the state math test was given.

Project Baltimore found, in 23 Baltimore City schools, there were zero students who tested proficient in math. Not a single student.

Chris Papst

23 Baltimore schools have zero students proficient in math, per state test results

This is so bizarre to me.

I find it difficult to believe any of the following hypothesis to explain these results:

  • Corruption of some nature which is so pervasive that teachers have near zero motive to do their jobs.
  • There are this high of percentage of students which are incapable of meeting grade level.
  • The tests are so difficult to meet grade level such that nearly no student can succeed.

I’m left with, “This is deliberate.” Could it be some sort of “Math is racist” thing is going on? What could be the motivation? Creating an “army” of non-thinking drones for welfare and votes?

On socialism and communism

Quote of the Day

In the end, we will be okay. The economy might crash, but in fundamentals we’re okay. Even manufacturing is reviving, even if it’s doing so in American fashion: fewer workers needed, less expense, more production, more profit.

We will be okay. Might “crash” in externals and structure for a while, before coming back, though. Same with the rest of our symptoms.

But we’re the majority. And we’ve already won.

The mop up is going to hurt like a b*tch.

But be not afraid. We got this.

Quote of the day:

It is willful ignorance. They are stupid on purpose. By not knowing how things work, they can propose the silliest things and still pat themselves on the back for “doing something.” Gun laws don’t care about history, reality, or even basic physics. Usually the stuff they propose will actually be backwards and make the problem they supposedly want to fix worse. That’s a feature to them, not a bug. Because as long as the problem keeps getting worse they can keep voting themselves more power and authority.

Opposition MPs united in ensuring Canadian hunters aren’t disarmed by Liberal government

From the same article:

Conservative MP Glen Motz said comments by both the prime minister and Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino suggest the two men know little about firearms or the legislation that currently regulates their use.

“If the prime minister and Liberals were actually serious about public safety, they would be focusing on criminals, sentencing with the use of firearms for the commission of offences, or gun smuggling,” he said.

“Not the easy way of going after hunters, sport shooters and farmers who have not, are not, and never will be threats to public safety.”

Motz said bureaucrats who testified before the committee all but admitted the bill was politically motivated, and said what eventually ended up before the committee was nothing like the bill debated in the House.

“It was first introduced as a handgun freeze, if you will, that’s was what people coined it,” he said.

“At committee, the Liberals introduced a whole bunch of amendments, almost 50, which included this whole focus on centre-fire firearm and semi-automatics — basically hunters and sport shooters’ firearms.”

Motz said the bill is out-of-scope to be dealt with at committee, describing it as “underhanded” and lacking basic parliamentary procedure.

“They didn’t have the courage to have this debated in the House of Commons,” he said.

These people are evil.

Prepare and respond appropriately.

Quote of the day—George Skelton

It is very rare that anything monumental gets done in America’s political system without strong public support. That’s certainly the case with gun control.

The emphasis here is on strong support.

What we need to attain that is a hefty gun safety TV ad campaign.

Polls have consistently shown that the vast majority of citizens support gun control — but not strongly enough to force meaningful bills through Congress, such as requiring universal background checks and banning assault weapons, particularly their high-capacity magazines.

It’s not at the top of voters’ priority lists — and hardly thought about between mass killings at schools, churches, bars and dance halls.

That’s not true, however, of hardcore gun addicts. They’re single-issue voters whose candidate choices often depend solely on a politician’s uncompromising allegiance to unrestricted gun rights. That enables them and the gun lobby to wield extraordinary influence over members of Congress, especially Republicans.

And it’s why America’s national firearms restrictions — unlike California’s — are pathetic.

George Skelton

How do you win voters over on gun control? Meet them where they are — in front of the TV
[I find it very telling that the question of minority rights never come up in his proposal. Would if the majority of citizens supported the deportation of communists? Or lying in public? Or the banning of abortion? Or citizenship and government ID to vote? Or a tax on your skin color based on the number of “your kind” in prison?

This is not a majority rule country. And to suggest a majority supporting the denial of everyone a specific enumerate right is sufficient basis to do that is either a demonstration of profound ignorance or evidence of evil intent.

One of the things I have observed in the last few years is our opponents are far more open about their intentions. In the 1990s and through the 2000s as they were advancing they kept “reassuring” us they didn’t intend to take our guns. And they “respect the 2nd Amendment”. The big players make almost no mention of the 2nd Amendment now. It is further conformation of the observations made in the When Prophecy Fails book. When their prophecies fail (the 2nd Amendment doesn’t apply to individuals, gun control saves lives, blood will flow in the streets with concealed carry, etc.) instead of revising their beliefs to match the facts they proselytize all the more vigorously. They are “doubling down” on their failures to connect with reality.

Notice also that people who vote for the protection of civil rights are “addicts”. That is what they think of you. That is their dehumanization in preparation for the next big “reveal” of their true intentions.

Prepare and respond appropriately.—Joe]
