Dianne Feinstein

U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein died Thursday night.

To gun owners she probably is best know for her famous quote:

If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them, Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in, I would have done it.

February 5, 1995
CBS-TV’s 60 Minutes

She is also well known as willing, perhaps even eager, to lie to advance her unconstitutional gun banning agenda:

One could claim there is a silver lining to Senator Feinstein’s hatred of our specific enumerated right to keep and bear arms. Her activities were a motivational factor in the creation of Boomershoot.

Many people, who will remain nameless, have been saying things like:

Dianne Feinstein has been the primary pusher of gun control since I was just out of college and the 101 California law-firm massacre happened. Good fucking riddance.

I will not speak ill of the dead.

Diane Feinstein is dead. And that is good.

A very small number of people are telling us we should be praying for Dianne Feinstein and that our celebration of her death is in poor taste.

Fuck that. Forgiveness is between her and God, and she had zero remorse for her actions while alive.

People like her are responsible for disarming thousands of Americans and putting them into positions where they can’t defend themselves or their families.

We’ll celebrate in exactly the same way when Nancy Pelosi, Beto O’Rourke, Michael Bloomberg, or anyone else of that ilk finally keels over.

Can’t happen soon enough.

Good people celebrate the death of tyranny. Be good people.

As a general rule of thumb you shouldn’t celebrate people’s deaths just because you disagree with them. With that being said it goes way deeper than just disagreeing with her. She was a genuinely awful human being. I’m only sad she didn’t croak sooner.

Why should we mourn or speak highly of a tyrant that had been destroying our country for 50+ years?

I see nothing wrong with rejoicing in the demise of a tyrant.

All I can say about Diane Feinsteins passing is, “Good riddance”.

Those thoughts do not match mine. I did not smile or celebrate the hearing of her death.

Her death saddened me. I wanted her to live long enough to be prosecuted and spend her last years in prison.

  1. I’m with you, Joe.
Dancing on peoples graves achieves nothing and just makes you look like an unhinged leftist.
She was a despicable person, as are most in government, but celebrating anyones demise is just plain ignorant. The worst insult sometimes is to say nothing at all.
Besides, now Gov Newsom gets to appoint her successor, which is almost certain to be someone who is younger and an even more rabid communist than she was.
    There’s nothing to celebrate here.

  2. I am not so high-minded that I won’t speak ill of the dead. I’ll tell the truth about someone… living or dead. If it’s an ill truth then so-be-it. I had nothing good to say about Diane Feinstein while she was living and I’ll not say good things about her now that she’s gone.

May those who’ve passed before her and gone above mourn her passing and those who’ve gone below welcome her home.

  3. Despite her recent health issues, analysts believe that Feinstein will easily win her next reelection in 2024.

  4. I’m not celebrating her death, nor am I mourning it.

Hate is not the opposite of love; it’s just a small step to the left. The true opposite of love is apathy.

As far as I’m concerned, the most fitting reaction is the same indifference she showed the Constitution which she swore an oath to support and defend.

May her memory fade into obscurity, her name forgotten even by those who claim to love her.

  5. “If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them, Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in, I would have done it.”
To bad she couldn’t have pulled it off. We would have been done with the questions about 2A and what it means along time ago. But alas.
As Archer says. And I’ll not being changing my mind because a she-beast has gone to meet her maker.
Bitches is, bitches isn’t. Bitches be like bitches no matter what condition they be. And no one can argue she wasn’t satan’s bitch.
Her replacement is going to be worse.
    Plan accordingly.

  6. Apart from the infamous “51 votes” quote, there was also the fact that she had a concealed carry permit and used it routinely, while claiming that she didn’t see anything hypocritical about that. I think her excuse amounted to “well, I’m special”.

  7. I’ll settle for watching the legacy of all she pushed for get overturned by the People she hated. Then maybe she’d serve some useful purpose as a generator turning over in her grave and us harnessing the energy. After all, she was from California. They’re big on renewable energy there. Unless they ban necroelectric like they have hydroelectric.

Prison would have been nice but erasing your legacy via the sandblasting of the law comes a close second.

  8. To paraphrase Phil Sheridan, I believe the only good progressive-fascist is a dead progressive-fascist. Di-Fi has become a good one, and that is good.
