It’s not only another Markley’s Law Monday; it is another science denier (see also here and here)!

Delusions are often functional (Heinlein). In this case the functionality works for everyone. Jensen gets to feel superior and gun owners get a good measure of the caliber of their political opponents.

    First of all, don’t count those guys out completely, they work with their hands very day & are probably (in many ways) far stronger than you.

    Second of all, the danger is not that they will shoot you, nearly so much as it is that they won’t come out when your furnace breaks, unless maybe you offer them $1000/hr cash upfront. Or refuse to pick up the trash for a few weeks until they get what they want.

    I have a feeling I know who is going to win this one.
