This is not the first time this has been demonstrated. It happens again and again. Here is another example: The world’s best gun salesman. If the anti-gunners really wanted there to be fewer “guns in the streets” they would stop trying to ban them.

  1. In the mean time small gun shops go out of business and gun manufacturers move to friendly states. Neither return when the bans are eventually overturned. These are features to the Democrats pushing assault weapons bans.

  2. 1) that’s only in the short term. In the long term, the gun control leadership wants to change the culture, to make gun owners “the other”, to make people uncomfortable around them and not want them around.

    2) the larger mass of gun control idiots outside of the leadership largely do not engage in higher thinking to take this into account. If they did, they wouldn’t be gun control idiots.

    • Making hunting more difficult is a backdoor way to make gun control more likely.

    • So how do we combat that? Did you wear an RKBA shirt today? Yesterday? Is there a pro-gun bumper sticker on your car?
      We typically don’t do this because it makes us targets. We prefer concealed carry to open carry. We prefer low-profile. But changing public perception requires high-profile behavior. It requires announcing that you’re a gun owner. De-sensitizing the public to open carry. Those are hard (and questionably wise) things to do.
      Our other option is to buy a studio and show responsible gun use in our movies.
      Is taking one or two non shooters to the range a year really going to make a difference?
      Remember when the NRA tried the “I’m the NRA” campaign? How many of us bought in to that attempt to normalize gun ownership?
      If ever there was a shadow majority….
