It is a rhetorical question, but it could be a useful question to ask a few people just to see what sort of response you get.

  1. I’ll take the entrepreneurial inventor and builder every time so long as they’re reinvesting that wealth into their business or providing world famous art museums or public libraries in every town as a hobby instead of funding nutty Mass depopulation schemes (Bill Gates, etc)

    Hopefully Elon will leave the country with the tools to colonize the solar system the way earlier “Robber-Barons” built out the worlds best railroad system at that time, and catapulted the USA to be the foremost steel, oil producer and manufacturer of automobiles on Earth. The resulting middle-class boom transformed western civilization

  2. Elon creates useful stuff instead of overlapping and fraud-ridden welfare programs.

What I noticed about Elon was when he was in charge of DOGE, which was essentially an audit organization, the people complaining the most were not the ones who received the corrupt wealth siphoned out of the various programs, but the taxpayers, who faithfully paid the taxes that went to the various crooked embezzlers, and always received less than what the budget promised them.

    This was the first time the intended program beneficiaries complained about an auditor finding corrupt third parties embezzling money from them, the program beneficiaries.

    Every time I think the Democrat rank and file cannot get more stupid or more indoctrinated to stool for the actual party beneficiaries, something like this comes along.

    • All the “taxpayer” and “average voter” protest appear to me like a total astro-turf op to run cover for the corrupt recipients. It had the feel of activist and 3rd-order recipients of the graft.

      Note that since the USAID got largely shut down, so have all the gay pride festivals, trans-pride events, and various other far left media-events have been greatly reduced, too. Much of those public display degeneracy appear to have been indirectly tax-payer funded.
