Some people are so stupid I have no common ground upon which I can even communicate with them.
While barely qualified to convert O2 into CO2, these same people are encouraged to vote. I just want to retreat to my underground bunker in Idaho and prepare for when his type does an imitation of the zombie apocalypse.
The first half I can at least understand – he’s an idiot who doesn’t understand the concept of “per capita”.
But the second part….. I have no idea what he is talking about.
“Per capita” is actually a statistical/economic term used to differentiate individual inputs and outcomes from community/town/city/state/national ones. Race has nothing to do with it (except for the Left, for which race always has everything to do with it).
In the context of “crime,” “per capita” differentiates actual risk vs perceived risk. The Left and the media (but I repeat myself) want to make it all about white-on-black crime to claim we’re an inherently racist nation, and they can massage the “gross” numbers to make it appear that way.
The “per capita” numbers show exactly what an individual’s risk really is, and expose the fear-mongering lie the Left and media are selling.
It’s only “racist” in the sense that it doesn’t comport to The Race Narrative[TM] like they want.
You know what “per capita” means. I know. Joe knows. Pretty much everyone reading this blog knows. People with IQs below 85 really struggle with the concept. Guess what racial group really struggles with understanding it? Guess which group says it’s all just racist lies by whites to make blacks look bad?
To me the problem is in examination of what he said in the wrong context.
We think he’s saying this as a real belief.
When in fact, he’s just repeating a standard communist grift used to destroy America.
Anyone that can breathe knows blacks out crime whites 10 to 1. And that “racism” is just a buzz word to make a certain portion of the population cower in guilt.
It’s all just standard communist piss-antery.
Racism as we know it is a natural part of the humanity. Your born with it. And the only thing that changes it is trust.
Ever notice that nobody anywhere has a problem being “racist”?
Africans, Jews, Germans, English, Indians, Chinese, Arabs, Mexicans, Spaniards, ETC. And not only are they all racist toward everyone else that doesn’t look like them.
They got their own hierarchies inside the own races. (Hans vs Mandarins)
But in America “racism” is all just a communist-punk-ass elitist trick to subdue a portion of the population.
It’s all just a game that only dipshits fall for. So real racists can stab you from behind on a bus for the fun of it. Rape and steal with impunity.
And the slightest examination of the facts will lead to no other conclusion.
We in America should be proud of our racism.
Everybody else is.
We built the greatest civilization on earth. F-ya if you can’t handle it.
Never forget that it takes a minimum IQ of 85 to understand the concept of “per capita”.
This individual is yet another in a very long line who demonstrate why Universal Suffrage is a failed policy and is destroying Western Civilization. There should be a test and citizenship positive identification before anyone is allowed to vote. The stupid, ignorant, insane and non-citizens should not be permitted to vote. Pass a basic US history and civics test. A basic economics test and recite the scientific method with an example or three. Solve a linear algebraic equation and describe what it means. Etc. Otherwise no vote for you. One qualified positively identified voter casting one ballot on one and only one Election Day with a long term verifiable ballot paper trail
That works for me. But the odds of getting that are asymptotically close to zero.
Let’s start with the low hanging fruit first. Election integrity! No more mail in ballots for federal elections. Government issued photo ID must be checked before voting to verify your identity. Paper ballots required so recounts can be done. Signature on the ballot. One day only for voting instead of months to allow impersonating others.
That is a good start and should be achievable. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth by cheaters, but that will make them easier to identify.
And let’s make it a national and state holiday. originally election day was chosen as being in November so the farmers could drive into town starting on the weekend, arriving Tuesday and voting, and drive back home by the weekend. He was the business owner, so his schedule was his own. Nobody was checking his attendance every working day and paying him on that basis,
One day voting, in person unless you have a good reason otherwise, Check ID, paper ballots, sign the ballots, if anyone is concerned about tying a vote to a particular person, have the ballot perforated so one part has the votes and the other part has the signature.
I would go further and require the voter registration process to include the test immigrants take to become naturalized citizens. Don’t let the voter registrar coach them, make it like the written test at the DMV. Such tests have a bad reputation due to Democrats in the Jim Crow South using literacy tests and poll taxes to keep blacks voiceless.
Heinlein has an interesting take on literacy tests and such in his book, “Expanded Universe.” Put any one of those into effect and the wailing and gnashing of teeth would be heard on the Moon.
Could be simplified.
Just pass the same test that immigrants must pass for naturalization. No notes, no google, closed book test.
That’s what is necessary to vote. Couldn’t be more fair.
Retake it to qualify to run for public office, every time, but the pass score goes up to 90%
I LIKE this. I like it a LOT.
Of course, just plain expiring voting registration every some-single-digit-number-of-years (I recommend 4, like Presidential terms) would honestly go a long way towards what we’re after, and we can’t even get that in place, so I doubt anything comes of these ideas in my lifetime, sadly.

If I might suggest that the real problem is not that stupid people vote.
We all get stupid now and then. And politics is one of those areas for true universal suffrage from it.
The problem is that we have imported and allowed an invasion of stupid people that could care less about anything but themselves and what they can steal.
Sorry, but voting tests aren’t going to fix that.
It’s like saying we have a problem with trash everywhere.
You don’t.
You would have a problem with people that don’t put trash in trash cans.
And people that don’t understand America and how it works just should not be allowed to live here.
We shouldn’t be talking voting and IQ. We should be demanding mass deportations.

Were schools performing as originally conceived “a high school diploma” would suffice as “adequate certification of citizenship competency.”
Unfortunately, we are suffering under a radical leftist woke union-driven Educational Industrial Complex whose goals are about as far from the original concept as it is possible to get; merely becoming “asymptotically close to zero” would require such a significant improvement as to be impossible by anything less than total eradication and rebuilding from scratch.
Sadly, there’s no hope for correction in the current environment; perhaps it may be rectified by whomever is left after the Apocalypse.
