Unholy Trinity of Threats to our Republic

Quote of the Day

Mamdani represents the unholy trinity of threats to our Republic—Islamism, Communism, and the Democratic Party.

Just a FYI, Van Fleet was born in China and participated in the “Cultural Revolution.” She has been in the U.S. for many years now and is fighting for the good guys.

She uses an interesting collection of labels. I’m not sure they are all compatible. Pure communism not tolerant of religion. But then, coherence is not a defining characteristic of any of them.

My expectation is that within a few years New York City will be a shining bad example for the rest of the world to see. It is also my expectation that most people will look at the mess without seeing the root cause.

There is virtually nothing I can do about the problem, so I’ll get back to work on preparing my underground bunker in Idaho.

  1. Well, I would argue that Communism *is* a religion, or a religious cult. Like Warmism, it has the relevant properties: doctrine held by faith regardless of facts, shamans under a self-appointed hierarchy, and an Inquisition to enforce its edicts.

Apart from that, Communism is somewhat tolerant of religion once it has acquired control over it. You can see that in Russia with its subservient Orthodox church, and in China where the CCP now controls appointment of Roman Catholic bishops, exactly like in Europe in the Middle Ages.

  2. We already had the shining example of Detroit.

We presently have the shining examples of Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Washington DC, New Haven and others.

How many more examples do we need?

(I say “we”, but I suspect a lot of us are on the “do not entry said places without dire need” basis with those cities.)

  3. All of you who are US citizens, be sure to write your Congress weasels often and bluntly when New York or helLA or Commiefornia or Illinois requests a federal bailout and instruct your blood sucking congress weasels to just say NO! And to definitely vote NO! On any and all bailouts for these stupid morons who repeatedly voted themselves into these situations. Let them reap what they have sown.

  4. She forgot Orwellianism: the obsession anyone in power has with a surveillance state now that the technology is mature. “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear,” right? Anybody posting here with a handle or just their first name should keep in mind that the feds can now easily map that back to your real identity. Trump is making sure anonymity is well and fully dead, and punishment for Wrongthink will start happening in real time.

    • ” Trump is making sure anonymity is well and fully dead, and punishment for Wrongthink will start happening in real time.’

Sorry, but Trump isn’t doing anything in tech (he ain’t that smart).
He’s not using anything that wasn’t already built and in use.
And isn’t doing anything that wasn’t already being done in spades.
He’s just doing to people you agree with.
And building the sand castle up to the next phase of stupid.
Just like every other moron to sit in the oval office.
Think Trump punishing wrongthink is more worse than auto-pen punishing it?
Least he ain’t making us pay to cut little kids dicks off.

      • Well, yes, I agree he’s not smart enough to understand tech. But he’s letting Peter Thiel and Elon Musk and every other tech bro wanna-be Lord Of The Universe get away with murder. Palantir? The apex of Orwellian surveillance systems. And if you think it’s only gonna get used against liberals, you should listen more carefully to what they’re saying. Thiel can’t even bring himself to fully agree that humanity should continue to exist, dude is literally insane.

        • And your somehow thinking the Bidenwaffen wasn’t going to do the same thing?
That’s the nature of power. It buys both sides, controls and manipulates.
And if your now just hearing about Planatir, it’s a guarantee that it’s been up and running for years.
And it ain’t getting switched off by a silly president.
People complain about a digital dollar, then buy bitcon. And never carry cash.

Your tech. Start telling everyone how to overcome it.
Stop pointing at the he said, she said, distractions.
Let us know how to unplug the bastard.

          • Biden didn’t hand over all the government databases to Palantir, that was Trump, and now it’s exponentially worse. Would Biden have used it as a panopticon as well if somebody handed it to him? Probably. Power will do that to you. But at least he had the sense not to hand over the keys to the kingdom to people who think democracy is a dirty word.

As for how to overcome it, the only way is to destroy it. Visit the Palantir data centers and wipe them clean, and then visit every data center they ever connected to and wipe them, and then maybe stop by Google, Amazon, and Meta and give them a good scrub as well.

Of course this won’t happen, the genie’s out of the bottle, and the temptation of running everyone’s lives with a few keystrokes is too much for any of these people to resist. We are, to quote Shakespeare, “Well and deeply fuck’d.”

  5. It seems this goes back to the intelligence level question.
Where it seems evident that intelligence can and does get ruled by emotion.
It’s a very strange phenomenon of humanity. And one that appears to be leveraged to the hilt in our society.
Thus the reason all these ism’s seem to be the thing.
Pure cultism relies almost totally on emotion. No matter the level of intelligence.
Where pure logic relies proven facts.
And it appears the human balancing act is at the level of tight rope walking in order to maintain society.
As for holy/unholy? none of that can or should be thought of in government terms.
As for the ism’s? We should follow col. Murray’s advice and “stay out of the emotional space.”
As to the threat to our republic? That’s easy. Just remember that the end state of communism is democracy. Just like Mao told us it was.

  6. I thought 9/11 was a terrible disaster, but I don’t think I realized its true horror until Mamdani explained that afterwards hijab-wearing women got some dirty looks
