I Hope They Enjoy Their Trials

Quote of the Day

As Trump and Musk’s DOGE continue to drain the DC swamp—and begin dismantling the “off-the-books” shadow government (readhere)—internet search trends for “Criminal Defense Lawyer” and “RICO Laws” have erupted in the DC metro area and surrounding counties, including Northern Virginia and Maryland, according to new internet search trends uncovered by Rasmussen Reports head pollster Mark MitchellThese spikes strongly suggest that federal workers in the area are scrambling to secure legal counsel.

“Over three times more people in DC are googling “Criminal Defense Lawyer” than anywhere else in the US!” Mitchell wrote on X.

This is very telling. This means they knew they were involved in corruption.

I have zero sympathy for them. I hope they enjoy their trials. They earned them.

  1. If they haven’t done anything wrong they have nothing to hide…right?

I hope their trial are fair & the appropriate level of justice is delivered swiftly.

  2. The trouble might get really complicated by the fact that most attorneys in the DC metro area are probably going to be rolled up in the same RICO cases as their defendants.
Having set up NGO’s and false corporation for the propose of collecting/hiding/distributing, all that stolen taxpayer money. With full knowledge of their crimes.
Not to mention aiding and abiding criminal aliens. False filings and criminal conspiracy to deprive the rest of us our rights?
Let face it. Almost everyone in DC is duplicitous in multiple felonies.
But especially the lawyers and judges.
And Trump should just pre-pardon Elon and the whole DOGE team.
Isn’t that what Biden would do?

  3. I’m curious; should Patel’s FBI retrieve the search histories of indicted individuals, and said search queries arise, could that be used towards establishing Mens Rea?

  4. There will likely be a handful of show trials….the most egregious violators. But the vast majority of those who were lined up at the trough won’t face any consequences other than perhaps job loss. I will be happy if they can claw back some of the billions stolen from us over the decades.

  5. There is one school of thought that just walling off D.C. and turning the city into a maximum security prison might be more efficient in the long run; after all, most of the criminal class is already there.

    • I understand the sentiment. But there do exist innocent people in there. Even if you only consider the children as innocent, that solution would be unjust. The maintenance of the buildings, streets, and other infrastructure would be far more expensive than prisons for the same number of people.

      • But nothing is stopping us from just deporting them. El Salvador, Haiti, Liberia?
I bet we could rent space from Putin in Siberia fairly cheap. Wouldn’t that be a nice touch of irony for the commie bastards?
