Your Lying Eyes

Quote of the Day

For one Democratic policy aide, the biggest concern was movement among younger voters. Feelings about masculinity were leading segments of Gen Z to break from the longtime trend of younger voters being more liberal, this person said.

“These kids are like, ‘Trump is cool. He’s the man, he’s great. He’s cool. It’s cool, bro. He’s cool,’” the Democrat said. “Everyone’s like, ‘Whoa, whoa, Latinos and African Americans like Republicans now.’ No, the men wanted a man. The men wanted a man’s man.”

“We have no easy path here,” this person continued. “We need to convince people that we’re the adults in the room, that we care about the economy, that we care about their pocketbook, that we’re cool dudes, that were not communists, that we’re not sexualizing their children, that we’re … not going to ban Zyn.”

Trump just realigned the entire political map. Democrats have ‘no easy path’ to fix it.

It is not an easy path because they have to convince people they can’t believe their own eyes.

We live in interesting times.

  1. It’s kind of hard to market yourself as cool when there’s video of them being cringe.

It’s kind of hard to market yourself as “not communist” when there’s video of them being wearing soviet symbols, have a Che flag in their office, and articles written by them saying “we’re communists”.

It’s kind of hard to market yourself as “not sexualizing children” when they’re inviting drag queens to the White House for story time.

It’s believable that they “care” about the economy. What’s not believable is that they’ll do anything to make it better. See “we’re totally communists” above.

As for being the “adults in the room”? We have video of their supporters screaming at the sky, and Democrat-heavy organizations in and out of government are having coloring books and puppy therapy days. Hard to be mistaken for an adult when the public perception is “toddler temper tantrum”.

Stop trying to market yourself as something the public wants, that you absolutely aren’t. If you want their vote, it is way easier to BE what the public wants.

    • You stated it very well. Nearly all the Demowhining I’ve read lately is all about how their message wasn’t received or interpreted well by the electorate. If they’d just yelled harder or saved democracy harder or accused fascism harder, we idiots would have understood and voted them in. It had nothing to do with clearly unpopular policy agendas and vacuous candidates.

  2. Spot on Joe.
If you communists want people to believe you ain’t communist? Stop doing the communist crap. Right?
85% of people pretty much just go along to get along in any system that is imposed on them.
But something the communists seem to miss is that communism goes against human nature, and our natural sense of fairness. Among other things.
It takes a constant government pressure to place and preserve. As soon as that government control system comes off. We go right back to being natural man.
That’s why they are so totalitarian toward everyone. Because communist ideas are so fragile.
Even the kids know it’s crap. Let’s hope the communist never figure that out.
Like Sun Tzu said. “Never interfere with an enemy in the process of destroying himself.”
And I would add; Unless I can help him finish the job.

    • “Never interfere with your enemy when he’s making a mistake.”

  3. We have a different world-view.

The commie/evil/left views the message and the substance as being one and the same. Word-magic works on them, they assume it works on others.

The Right / religious know that there is an objective reality that exists as it is, regardless of what we believe about it, or say about it. We may not understand it or know all about it, but we know it exists.

When an engineer asks “do the numbers work out?” he means “do my calculations correctly describe the local bit of reality we are working with?” What a typical leftie manager means by “do the numbers work out?” is “does it make me look go, and are they in alignment with dogma and what we wish was true?” If they SAY the numbers are right, then reality becomes those words, and it’ll work out fine… unless you are a wrecker who sabotaged it to “prove” them wrong.

So yes, it’s a mental illness.

  4. You notice how the leftist says the have to “convince” people they are for all those things….not actually BE for those things.

  5. It’s like Johnny Rotten said in 2020, the Right are now the cool kids giving the finger to Left wing establishment.
The Left maintains the delusion that they are “the resistance” when they have been “the man” for decades. Worse for the Left they have to be “the resistance “or their entire Marxist Conflict Theory based edifice falls down.
