Quote of the day—Michael Brendan Dougherty

New York decided to add a First Amendment violation as a bit of sauce to flavor the violation of the Second Amendment. The law is clumsily crafted. It’s not entirely clear whether I would be committing a crime if I forgot to include a LinkedIn account that I had not used for three years but that did exist in the past three years. It’s not clear whether law enforcement could disqualify carry permits based on content from five years ago. Could my overheated remarks about Jesuits or the pope disqualify me? There is no guidance.

It could be a horror show for Hollywood communist, give them nightmares for years; The Purge, Redneck revenge.
Oh, and no tag draws or hunt units!

  2. All this is happening because the people doing it CAN.
There is NO meaningful method to hold them accountable.
And if you think they care about what happens at the ballot
box you’re forgetting the sham they called an election in 2020.
The left can no decide who wins and who loses REGARDLESS
of what those who vote decide.

  3. Depending on the definition of “prosecute” there may be a somewhat less complex solution.

  4. To do your last, we would need a Justice Department that actually supports the Constitution. Even if we could somehow get an AG who does, the vast bureaucracy would simply ignore him.

    • Of course, under the Constitution the AG could then fire the lot of them (civil service laws may say otherwise, but they are not Constitutional since Article 2 says that the executive branch serves at the pleasure of the President.)
