Indicator of not trustworthy

She has a great point:

Of course, as Gideon J. Tucker said:

No man’s life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session.

Therefore, untrustworthy should be your default view of politicians until conclusively proven otherwise, or they are dead, which ever comes last.

  1. Politics is not a job/career/endeavor that any normal trustworthy person would willingly choose. It only draws the type of personalities that should never ever be given any power of any sort over anyone or anything. The act of seeking office should, in a sane world, be an automatic disqualifier for holding office.

  2. Untrustworthy is my default for everyone these days, until you’ve proven yourself otherwise. And only a few have,

  3. I have a meme saved away showing a typical western movie character (might be Sam Elliot) and the caption:
If these fancy politicians treat the people this poorly when you’re armed to the teeth, just imagine what they’ll be willing to do once they’ve taken away all your guns.

  4. Excellent point. (Which I’m sure she did not get an answer to.)
With all the pedo’s out there now. She actually makes the argument for LOWERING the age one can purchase and carry a gun!
