Therefore, untrustworthy should be your default view of politicians until conclusively proven otherwise, or they are dead, which ever comes last.
Politics is not a job/career/endeavor that any normal trustworthy person would willingly choose. It only draws the type of personalities that should never ever be given any power of any sort over anyone or anything. The act of seeking office should, in a sane world, be an automatic disqualifier for holding office.
