  1. “Chipman isn’t fit for a government job as a toilet scrubber…”

I believe you’re grievously overstating his qualifications.

Chipmans abound, they’re the beloved pets of the Left and they’re not going away so they’ll always be with us in some number; that Chipman was even considered, much less submitted to the Senate, to head BATFE tells one everything one needs to know about whom, and what, is running things in Washington, and a prelude to what’s in store for our country.

Here’s hoping saner heads prevail. Quickly. And, as our host says, with increasing and unfortunate frequency, “make appropriate preparations.”

  2. Chipman’s no toilet scrubber. He’s a totalitarian communist. (which barely makes him good for recycling.) But I would gladly trade him for a fat little Guatemalan one. They understand America better than many born and raised here.

  3. You’re glimpsing an ancient mindset, which is arrogant almost beyond belief, presumptuous almost beyond imagination, and which covets your individual discernment enough to murder you, assume your identity and then mock you for its own amusement. They’ve rationalised it all, such that your freedom of conscience is a threat to “The Common Good” (as only they can define it), and your freedom of speech is a direct affront to the very salvation of the world which they could achieve if they but had enough “Tools and Resources”. To the likes of them, your criticism of them makes you beneath vermin, because regular vermin aren’t clever, they’re not nearly so dangerous and are relatively easy to exterminate. You’re far worse than vermin in your heresy against the goodwill of the State because, first and foremost, you fail to recognise their importance and the greatness and value of their mission. Worse yet, you might convince others, in their gullibility and selfishness, to think like you. The state has worked hard to keep people ignorant, intimidated, distracted and gullible so as to make them easily manipulated. Then you come along and hijack their subjects?!? You’re a thief, besides all those other things, and so all the more pernicious!

Therefore what is the value of free speech when it might derail the good works of the State, thus threatening the Common Good and even the very life of the planet? Those in charge of the world already know what they must do. Your thoughts are irrelevant at the very best. And who are you to question them anyway, when they are trying to save this world for future generations and all you could possibly do is muck up the works because of your impudence, short-sightedness, greed, pride, prejudice and selfishness? You should thank them when they come to kill you, for your life is so pathetic that you can’t possibly understand what it is they’re doing, much less appreciate it. Better for you to be put out of your misery while saving the world from your poisonous influence.

On the far, far, other end of the spectrum of the Great Controversy of this world, is the Word of God, and Jesus Christ; one who loves us enough, in spite of our imperfections, that he laid down His life for us, upholds our individual freedom of conscience even when we’re hurting ourselves with it, warns us to avoid hierarchical systems among Men (“the last among you shall be first, and the first shall be last”), and would never suggest that coercion as a system of governance was a good idea.

And so you’re pointing to a lesser apparatchik of the anti-Christ, and I’m pointing to Christ himself so as to highlight the total contrast. It’s something to be aware of because the anti-Christ system knows exactly what it’s doing, and against whom, while most of us are oblivious to the specific nature of this war that’s being waged.

“And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.” — Jesus Christ, as recounted in Luke 22

Is that not the polar opposite of what we hear from world “leaders”? It’s humble, kind, and gives a warning against our forming of top-down power structures among ourselves, and accounting them benefactors! And the world hates that message with a white-hot passion! The anti-Christ seeks to stamp out every trace, every suggestion, and hint, of Christ’s word and system, while mocking it at the same time, giving us a corrupted, perverted sense of it so that we can hate it along with them.

  4. David Chipman is the right man for the job if his confirmation is the last clause of of a bill entitled “Dissolution of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Forearms and Explosives”.

  5. It’s not really a surprise. These are democrats and when it comes to free speech they only ant one thing: the total ban of all freedom of speech and the mandated execution and extermination of every single solitary United States citizen that has ever criticized or used there free speech to oppose the democrats. Just like they want exterminate every Trump voter, republican, gun owner along with the entire population of the United States who opposes or resists them in any way.

  6. So the Constitution restrains such suspect public servants as this one who claims the limitations on his power stop what he believes is necessary to do to preserve peace and harmony.
Necessity, the creed of tyrants, the plea of slaves.

  7. Joe Biden is the perfect persona of big government. Senile, slow, corrupt. And so evil he can’t see that he is anymore. And wouldn’t want to stop if he did.
He said all we needed to hear a month ago. No amendment in the constitution is absolute.
Read, We the government do whatever we want. Chipman is the implement of that belief. One of many were finding out.
