Quote of the day—Brandon Smith

Gun control is the big line in the sand for most law abiding conservatives and moderates, and we have grown tired of the debate because it’s no longer a debate, it’s a imposition of ideology and cultism. All the facts are on the side of gun owners. All the legal protections are on the side of gun owners. All the moral dynamics are on the side of gun owners. As long as we stand our ground, there is nothing that leftists can do about it.

They can continue to lie, they can continue to threaten and they can continue exploiting emotional arguments, but they’ll NEVER get the guns.

  1. Absolutely. To bad, they never will realize that their being sacrificed. For the communist Chinese and Soro backed globo-homo tyrantical Nimrod class. That is until they get “ditched” by them. Think Obama really wants Kamala around?
The left are all just whores. Still in love with their pip. Saying anything, doing anything their told.

    • I think we should get rid of the unconstitutional laws first, then get rid of (no longer necessary) enforcement.

Otherwise I think it’s an exercise in rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. There are MANY alphabet soup agencies who would be willing to take up the slack in your scenario, and I would bet that they would be hiring a lot of ex-ATF agents to do the work.

      • Yep. The incompetence of the ATF is a good thing given the laws they are tasked with enforcing.

        • The ATF does not have an monopoly on incompetency. Breaking up the ATF is on a level with the left’s defund the police – its not just the action, its the attitude and messaging.

Still, even though it is interesting to ponder I do not see how it is even remotely possible until there is a sea-change in public attitudes.

  2. People saying “they’ll never get the guns” are POOR STUDENTS of history.
Because the TRUTH is that almost EVERY government that has passed
laws to disarm the populace eventually succeeds in doing so. The exceptions
    are RARE.

    • And that was even true in the middle ages but we should also note that many bans are temporary.

In 1096, Pope Urban II banned the crossbow on the punishment of excommunication and eternal damnation of the soul and kings followed suit. It took another century for the crossbow to return to common use in Europe.

And it was not just weapons. Middle age kings also banned such things as grinding stones for making flour so that people would be forced to use the kings mill at a fee. The solution was capitalism. Today our governments don’t need to ban such items because it is generally a lot less work to buy rather than make almost anything. So we mostly have the right to make almost anything including some guns. However limits still exist and are generally controlled by restricting the availability of parts.

Freedom to DIY is mostly not a left vs right issue – it is one of currency.

And least you forget our companies and corporations are legal agencies of the government.

    • And we were the exception in 1776. We could be again.
The government we have is not sustainable in it’s present form. And most people buying guns see that. I see the government changing long before guns go bye-bye.
