British right-wing political commentator Milo Yiannopoulos has been deported from the United States after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Yiannopoulos, 41, a former editor of Breitbart News and onetime political aide to rapper Kanye West, was deported on Friday, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Yiannopoulos, “an illegal alien from the United Kingdom” had been sent “back to his home country”, a DHS spokesperson said in a statement given to the BBC.
The self-styled provocateur has called himself the “most fabulous supervillain on the internet”. His critics call him a purveyor of hate speech.
Yiannopoulos, who grew up in Kent in the south of England, was arrested on 27 August after arriving at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
He flew into the US in May 2019 and “chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws”, the DHS said.
Milo appears to be having a really bad day. It was self-inflicted so I don’t have much sympathy for him.
I found him to be entertaining. But I expect he will not be in the mood to entertain for a while.

The media, who hates Trump with the burning passion of a million suns, can simply find a bunch of white people who are here illegally and NOT being deported. They could *factually* paint him as a racist, instead of the standard BS innuendo (which is all they almost ever have).
Have they done this? ……..no, of course not.
And in fact, they DID find a white person (Irish guy) being deported for being here illegally, last year I think it was? Tried to make a big deal of it, like “See, even WHITE people are being deported! Don’t you white racists hate that?!?” and the Right didn’t just not care, they were overwhelmingly supportive of him being deported, since he was here illegally.
And he’s not the only one. You can find stories about it in Irish publications of other Irish people being deported back to Ireland, and since that was the story I was checking and still found several OBVIOUS examples, I didn’t even bother checking other European countries.

That said, there’s bound to be a lot of *abuse* of that information, when it comes out, too, for several reasons.
The redacting (*required by law*) takes time. I think they are almost certainly dragging their feet on that (like the government always does), but it’s also bound to have some bureaucratic BS slowing it all down, too.
And of course, the redacting (again, required by law) will be… poor. It will NOT be good enough. They will redact stuff they shouldn’t and fail to redact stuff they should. That’s the decades-long track record.

Was this just in the last day or three? The problem is always multiple links. I don’t mind approving them. But it may take many hours before I notice posts in need of approval. This is particularly true if I am driving to/from Idaho after work. I just want to go to bed at the end of my trip.

Actually no, I’m not arguing “disparate impact.” The vast majority of migrants arriving in the past 3 or 4 decades in the U.S. are from Mexico and South America, not Europe, so it’s totally understandable that the majority of people being deported would be non-white.
I suppose the question is whether we agree on “the narrative.” In my head “the narrative” is not that non-white populations are being unexpectedly deported given statistical reality of how many entered the country illegally, but that they are being unfairly *targeted* as a function of their skin color. So when a Salvadoran migrant applies for asylum they’re turned away, but a white South African gets a free pass. Thus having a white person get turned away (or in this Milo case sent back) is an anomaly, and gets more press.
Put another way: I don’t see anybody targeting the Irish, or Italians, or the Chinese for deportation. It’s all Mexicans and central/south Americans. The VAST majority of asylum claims have been rejected for years, because most of them are FOUND BY THE COURTS to be BS. They are used as an excuse to get into the country, then live here for years and hoping to just never get deported. This hasn’t even been an “open secret”, it’s just plain OPEN. It is very, very well documented.
In South Africa (and Zimbabwe for even longer than that, but I know from personal friends who came here from there that they couldn’t get asylum), whites are being killed for being white. White people claiming asylum from there seems…. completely reasonable in those conditions.

They are used as an excuse to get into the country, then live here for years and hoping to just never get deported. This hasn’t even been an “open secret”, it’s just plain OPEN. It is very, very well documented.
In South Africa (and Zimbabwe for even longer than that, but I know from personal friends who came here from there that they couldn’t get asylum), whites are being killed for being white. White people claiming asylum from there seems…. completely reasonable in those conditions.
Got any examples other than that one family that got so much media attention? Because I’ve got other examples of white people being deported besides the recent one, and if they are here illegally, *the right is happy about it*.
Considering that the Biden administration brought in people from South America by the literal millions, that is where the problem SHOULD be expected to be. That’s where the majority of illegal aliens SHOULD be.

However, since we can’t deport them all RIGHT NOW, we should prioritize those from groups who are causing the most problems per capita. Illegal White South Africans are not committing nearly as many crimes per capita as illegal Hattians, so focusing on deporting the Hattians first; that’s not “racist”, that maximizing the harm-reduction.
But of course, crime stats are racist because they show blacks committing more crimes per capita than other racial groups in pretty much every country around the world, so….

That’s stats of who IS being deported, and I do not contest that. You are making claims of who is NOT being deported, which is not what that data is about.
BY YOUR OWN LINK about who is from where, whites make up about 7% of illegals in this country. So, if it was entirely random, one would expect about **93%** of those being deported to be non-white.

Yes, it did indeed start then. It got MUCH WORSE in the last few years, and reached a ridiculous, quite open crescendo under the Biden administration. It’s not that Trump “wants them to be reduced”, it’s that people being encouraged to come in illegally were being coached to file asylum claims to get through the door – the claims are false and have a very high failure rate, but it gets them in the door.
Again, that stuff is quite public – the coaching, the false claims, they are known and public. Even the media reported on it a bit. ALL such claims should fail, and they were being claimed en masse during the Biden Administration.
Historically, they have a lower failure rate, yes. Historically, there was not massive action to get illegals into the country using false asylum claims.

The gates were not only open but the fence itself was down, so we don’t really know what percentage of “got-aways” there were, because absolutely no one was watching the crossing places closely enough to estimate with any degree of accuracy what the percentage of “got-aways” there were based on the number of illegal crossers who were captured. The Border Patrol has an estimate of “got-aways” based on data from before 2020, but after, nothing. Anybody can say any percentage they want, and it is as accurate as any number pulled out of a politician’s ass. PIDOOMA numbers are a lousy basis for contradicting numbers of foreign nationals illegally present as counted by federal LEO’s.
