The Greatest Murder Machine in History – American Thinker
Their treatment of women is what bothers me the most. It also baffles me when women show their support for Palestine.
It’s not clear whether Islam or Communism should get that label. Not that there is much difference, considering who were allies back in the days of WW2.
The assertion is that over all recorded history, Islam has murdered more innocent people than any other belief system.
The great massacres of earlier times were smaller than those perpetrated by communism if only because the populations were so much smaller. For example, the sack of Magdeburg which is generally regarded as the worst atrocity of the 30 Years War (which was full of atrocities) killed about 25,000. Mao’s score was about 100M (estimates vary wildly.)
The flip-side is that communism killed ~168 million (by some estimates) in the 20th century, but the vast majority were in five or six nations.
Islam’s massacres are smaller, but far more numerous; they happen in every small town, village, and community that doesn’t convert and/or submit. Thousands upon thousands of them. Additionally, they’ve been at it since the eighth century AD. It adds up.
It’s hard to say for certain, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Islam has killed more people over the past thousand-ish years than communism has over the past 200 or so, several times over.
Islam has an argument for *literally* the largest body count of any ideology in the history of mankind, and much of it *was* in those earlier times, they just put in a LOT of effort – generational efforts, killing and killing and killing and killing and killing and….
And their own histories report it proudly, just like their proud coverage of their own atrocities on October 7th.
The only ideology that is even close is socialism. To be fair, they had a larger population to work with, but also to be fair, they made REALLY good time, getting there in only 100 years.
A better measure might be “what percentage of people who lived while this ideology was active were killed by it?” but I don’t know that answer.
Islam is a totalitarian form of government masquerading as a religion.
Communism is a totalitarian religion masquerading as a form of government.
Both equally vile in their own way, both equally capable and willing to kill every human being in their reach that doesn’t obey them…and many that obey as well. The “score card” shouldn’t be measured by numbers of deaths, but by percentage of the then existing population killed.
I suspect they’d be neck and neck.
Women and LGBTs.
The former is effectively subjugated. The latter is literally thrown off buildings and hung by the neck from cranes.
But “Queers for Palestine” is a thing.

As my friend and I used to say in High School when we heard something particularly stupid, “Cosmic, man, just Cosmic.”
I mean, I know that the enemy of my enemy is my friend, but who needs friends who are just as much your enemies as the people you’re already enemies with?
As for why so many women support Palestinian Muslim causes, just remember, “The Ladies love outlaws.”
They believe they have the power within themselves to tame these thugs and “soothe the Savage Breast”, as the old chestnut puts it.
Yeah, the only argument on LGBT issues in Islam is “which method of execution”.
“But “Queers for Palestine” is a thing.”
Your last bit is only sufficient if the desk is shattered into tiny pieces in the process. It’s right up there with “Jews for Hitler”.
On the one hand, why on Earth would ever assume most women (especially coddled, un-worldly, over-educated, western women) would make anything like a rational decision when it comes to risk-assessment?
OTOH, women have been playing the “let’s you and him fight, so I can sleep with the strongest one” game for pretty much all of recorded history. It’s a civilization-wide “you-two-fight” shit-test the west is currently losing.
If you ever see a leftie woman who is pro-Palestine, just tell her “Islam was right about women.” It makes two of their foundational beliefs come into direct conflict.
I think we have discovered (not that it was that well-hidden) why, even today, the intellectual output of Islamic countries is staggeringly outpaced by any other culture on earth. From books translated from Arabic into other languages to the number of Nobel Prize laureates since Alfred Nobel began to award the Prize, to the percentage of scientists in Islamic culture, Islam punches far below its weight.
If it weren’t for God’s joke on the world, putting so much of the oil in the care of murderous thugs, they would have the influence of, say, the Australian Aborigines.
As Rolf said above, we have to tell Leftist women that Islam was right about women. They should read the Thousand and One Arabian Nights to see how dishonest and mistrusted women were considered in Arab culture.

Muslims treat women harshly and Jews use them as whores.
Neither has the moral high ground on that issue.
Um, using them as whores would still be quite a bit better than literally raping them to death, as muslims are known to do (October 7th just being the most recent example) on an industrial scale… and they brag about it.
Even without contesting your factual claim, your judgement is still painfully and horribly flawed.
After what happened on October 7 2023 I simply DO NOT CARE what Israel does regarding muslims. Whatever happens to them is well and truly deserved.
That’s just the latest example. Their own histories brag about things MUCH worse than October 7th.
And most of it was done “manually” – with swords and such. It took a lot more effort… and they were (proudly!) up to the challenge.
