If there were wise people in the group, they would not have a theocratic death cult for the leadership of a country. But the death cult getting put to death is appropriate conclusive end to situation. Will it be the end? Perhaps not. But it is going to make it more difficult to find hard line leadership. After all, how many levels of decapitation does it take before no one wants to be the head?

Anyone who doesn’t think the Islamic Republic is a theocratic death cult, needs to review the requirements to become the Supreme Leader.
Among other things, it must be a man, he must be a religious figure, and he must be selected/elected by the council of “Experts,” who are all Islamic and Quranic scholars.
IOW, secular leaders are not allowed. And when the selection is done by and chosen from religious fundamentalists and extremists, you shouldn’t be surprised to get religious fundamentalist/extremist leaders.
I’m really rooting for the people of Iran, now that the religious cult is ousted, to institute government that represents them and their interests. Only time will tell if they’re able to do it. But whether they do or not, America should have no part in their self-determination; this needs to be 100% done by the Iranians, for the Iranians.
