Quote of the Day
Communists are always certain of themselves because their certainty is ideological, not factual—and ideology doesn’t require reality.

All successful politicians express great confidence. I do not know how many actually believe themselves. But I know a great many of them seemingly compulsively tell lies. Truth and reality are tough, really tough. So, the more connected to reality and the more truthful you are the less confidence you will express. That gives the communists and liars a big advantage in getting followers because they express the confidence that gives people a feeling of stability in an uncertain world.
The same can be said for anti-gun people. But anti-gun people are mostly communists, so that isn’t adding much.
I see this in the Great Leap Forward , The Cultural Revolution and the Type 56 YouTube videos discussing how the Chinese screwed up yet another weapons program. The Type 63 rifle is a perfect example.
Here in the US the war on poverty comes,to mind and of course gun control, Ladd Everitt and Shannon Watts come to mind, although given Ms. Watts’ history with Monsanto she may be cynic out for a buck rather than a true believer
This observation also explains why they want to argue that facts and truth are merely a matter of opinion, and for a mathematician to claim otherwise means he’s practicing racist math.
To which I reply: “if you think that, climb to the roof of that skyscraper and step off. We’ll find out if gravity is merely a matter of opinion.”
I’m pretty sure we’ve all heard the term “confidence man”. The grift is to cozy up to the intended victim. And make them unaware of the theft.
Ah ya, that’s been all things politics since there was such a thing as politics.
In the end communism is just an agreement between thieves to only steal from certain people. Not each other. (That comes later.)
Always is human nature in play. Which is why communism falls apart so fast when truly implemented.
Because the humans running it can/will only steal. Never create. And nobody is going to create something they know is only going to get stolen.
That’s why in the end of it they always have to force you to produce. And if you don’t they will steal your life.
Always best not to let it get started.
But, oh well, here we go again.
Over the past century or so our modern technological society has made it possible for people to exist TOTALLY separated from reality. So much so that there really are people out there who actually believe that the meat they eat does NOT come from killing animals. There are millions of people that ignorant and that stupid. And it’s only going to get worse…until the collapse. Then most of them will be removed from the gene pool.

If no reality undergirds a thought then it isn’t ideology in any fashion. It’s imagination. A fantasy.
Castles in the air save a lot on foundation costs.
Of course the Dems can also attempt to reshape reality, by deliberately importing a compliant voting block to replace Americans in America.
They all need to go back, and the Dems who supported this need to be jailed, hung, or at the very least removed from any and every position of power, including the right to vote.
