Quote of the Day
The gun-friendly Court has made a near-impossible feat Sisyphean. We have a Republican Congress utterly unwilling to pass meaningful legislation to stem the scourge of gun violence, backstopped by a Supreme Court that sees the Second Amendment as untouchable.
…
Still, dropping the subject cedes significant ground to the right. The United States is not the only country with hyper-partisanship and an irresponsible, bloodlusty leader. It’s the guns.

We Don’t Even Talk About the Guns Anymore
Riga is delusional and/or stupid if she really thinks it is the guns rather than the culture and/or people. But that may be giving her too much credit.
At this point I don’t much care. She has an opinion that is just so much dust being swept into the dustbin of history. I’m just happy to see the acknowledgement that her desire to enable tyranny anytime soon is hopeless.
It’s past time for all the progressive statists and anyone else who won’t abide by the Constitution and believe the concepts of individual liberty and responsibility envisioned by our founders is flawed and must be changed, to decamp to nations more accommodating of their repressive view. Nearly anywhere in Europe would appear to do these days. And good riddance.
Africa.
Among the people they wanted to lord over us. On penalty of death should we ever see you again in a US territory.
They get dropped off with a small backpack and $100 dollars
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
Thomas Paine
I thought it was Samuel Adams who said that, but this wouldn’t be the first time I remembered something wrong.
The various Anti-federalists argued in opposition to the new Constitution that they didn’t fight the war against the Crown to get rich, they did it to be free, and a strong central government would make the citizens of the United States less free.
Thanks.
I attributed it to Adams as well.

I could be wrong (wouldn’t be the first time.)
Could sworn I typed in Paine.
It’s AI’s fault, AI tricked me!
You’ll right. It was Adams.
They won’t go. Now what?
Anyone that ignorantly stupid(stupidly ignorant?) should be forced to live(a very short life I expect) in section 8 housing in south Chicongo.
