Quote of the Day
There’s a decent chance this shit comes down to the bullet box in the next few years. Liberals need to get over their aversion to guns and arm up.

Comment to Albuquerque GOP Headquarters Torched in Early Morning Fire, Feds and Local Authorities Investigate – ABQ RAW
So… The Republication Headquarters is destroyed by an arsonist, and someone in support of the criminal behavior concludes more opponents of Republicans need to “arm up”. That is a little weird. Apparently, they are not a fan of democracy. They are not getting their way via the ballet box and are ready to go to the cartridge box.
That sounds like we have ourselves a suspect in the arson case. And if that doesn’t work out there is the terrorist watch list.
If the Leftists all wanted to move into one or a few states and peacefully go their own way, I’m sure that could be arranged.
No bloodshed would be required, maybe just a little bit of paperwork. Peace love and tolerance, amirite?
How ’bout they all just deport to Africa?
Anything closer will only result in more bloodshed.
They can’t live without being able to steal from working people.
They live to destroy. Which means they have to be somewhere that has something that hasn’t been destroyed yet.
They won’t give you any other choice. Submit to destruction and die. Or fight and die. But there ain’t no “living” with them.
Are you surprised? The Republicans have decided the legislative process is too slow, so now everything’s done by executive fiat. And it’s not just that the long string of executive orders bypass congressional review, but those orders are being enhanced and executed by an unelected billionaire and his coterie of also-unelected 20-something tech bros (all male, of course). And then when a judge dares to question them, rather than making a robust counter-argument they assert the judge should be removed.
And now we hear Trump wants a third term, even though the constitution *explicitly* rules that out. But, he says, “there are ways” it could be made to happen. It’s hysterical (in a pathological way) to hear conservatives rattle on about constitutional originalism and then throw it out when they don’t like it. Reminds me of “Christians” who pick and choose the parts of the Bible they want to follow.
And don’t even get me started on the explicit program of gerrymandering the Republicans have been executing on for a couple decades now.
It’s bald hypocrisy to throw out the rule of law and then complain when the other side says, “Ok, if that’s the way it’s gonna be, we’re gearing up.” Pick a lane.
I’m not surprised. These are “former” democrats. Power over principles.
Oh please, after the 50 years of dirty under-handed-criminal behavior-mega-theft-communist crap from both the commicrat left and the bought-off right?
You’re going to hide under the law rock?
Trump ain’t serving a third term. But if you want to know how that works?
Go look up Oregon’s governor Kitzhaber. Stolen elections and all.
The third term rhetoric is obviously trolling for the left. And many are falling for it.
That is something I really like about Trump. He gets them so riled up.
And what really piss’es me off is that people like John end up making you defend Trump.
Whom I view as a common cold, as compared to communist drug-resistant tuberculosis.
So don’t defend Trump. Defend the rule of law, so when the administration claims that “criminals don’t deserve due process” you stand up and say “now waitaminnit…”
And do so without the whole “but mommy, Tommy did it first and you didn’t punish him, so I get to do it too!” argument.
Try a mirror when you’re trying to make point next time.
And deporting criminal invading aliens doesn’t require anything other than kicking their asses back across the border.
Legally speaking.
As for defending the rule of law?
You don’t want me to start defending that.
Trump’s a lite-weight on that one. You’all be complaining already.
So the guy they deported to El Salvador, who was in fact not a criminal, and who they admitted should not have been deported under what they called a “bureaucratic mistake,” you heard about him? He’s why we have the rule of law, so little “oopsies” that destroy people’s lives don’t happen. So yes, I do want to hear you start defending the rule of law. If you don’t, and at the same time claim to have rights under the Constitution (e.g. 2A), you’re not being rational.
And to a certain extent I think you’re arguing against me just because it’s me. Imagine I’m somebody else for a moment, see if that helps.
Well, he’s lucky he wasn’t caught praying in an abortion clinic.
And your right. We been whining about the 2A violations how long?
“And to a certain extent I think you’re arguing against me just because it’s me.”
It’s not you, It’s that you sound like a CNN reporter.
You swallowed Trump trolling you, hook, line and sinker.
TDS has you locked into a Ground Hog Day loop.
Saying those who criticize Trump have TDS is little different than yelling “well you’re wrong ’cause you’re a stinky poo poo head!”
But sure, play that tune some more, it’s catchy.
Well, You got to understand how folks get that impression. A lot of crap does come out of that head of yours.
What amazes me is I can call for a small, weak government and STILL folks here call me a communist.
Agreed.
It must be a weak form of communism.
Elbridge Gerry, a Democrat, died before the Republican party existed.
Back before the Dems became the liberal party, yes.

Fine, let’s fix it. Let’s establish a system of redistricting that will be binding on all the states that has the least chance of the weird contortions that favor one party or the other.
Principle 1: Anyone qualified to serve on a jury in the state, and is not a government employee or elected official or the immediate family member of one, can submit a districting plan in a national standard map digital format. This will be verified by the state’s Secretary of State.
Principle 2: No one gets to see those plans until after the filing deadline.
Principle 3: Duplicate redistricting plans, or those with less than a 2% difference, are removed.
Principle 4: The top eleven (11) plans with the lowest total length of arbitrary lines are determined. Arbitrary lines are those drawn on the map where they do not confirm to a impassible geographical feature, or a geopolitical boundary that hasn’t moved in 20 years (i.e. county lines, state borders, city limits, federal or tribal boundaries that fall outside of state jurisdiction and don’t contain legal residences for the purpose of census). The legislature gets no less than a week to review the eleven plans.
Principle 5: The Representatives go through three rounds of double elimination. I.E. The Representatives vote, and the first and second highest vote getting plans are eliminated. Then the Senators do two rounds of double elimination for the remaining five plans. (In unicameral legislature states, just do 5 rounds.) That leaves one plan, and that’s the redistricting plan.
Principle 6: The authors of the 10 non-selected plans receive a tax exempt prize of equal to 1/10-th the annual salary of a Senator. The author of the final plan gets a tax exempt prize equal to the annual salary of the Governor. The authorship of the plans is held secret until after selection is finalized.
Get bent. You just don’t like being on the receiving end.
If you guys think you’ll do better the next time you start a civil war, well go ahead, there will be no mercy next time.
Gives me great joy to see one of you on the Left confirm every single thing that we’ve pointed out makes you the domestic enemy the founders warned us about.
Thank you so very much for opening wide.
They’re looking into the dealings and spending of Executive Branch agencies. They are being directed to do this by the head of the Executive Branch, the President. All power of the Executive Branch is vested in the President, land all Executive Branch employees serve at his pleasure. If the President asks them to do that, he is within his right and his power to do so.
So, John Schussler, you are an idiot.
He’s not an idiot.
It might to help think of him more as an democrat AI program?
He’s just locked into certain perimeters of thinking.
We should all hold out hope and prayers for a fallen brother.
That one day he might be free.
Oh please, communists of America unit!
Pick up a gun and start shooting.
Cause nothing would rid America of you communist pukes faster than that.
What a glorious end it would be. Americans would finally start seeing you satanic monsters for what you truly are.
And start treating you the way you treat everyone else.
You’re a crime against humanity that has gone on for too long.
So, by all means, sow the wind, and watch what happens next, bitches.
From the Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy:
The history of war goes through three distinct phases: Retribution, Anticipation, and Diplomacy.
Thus, Retribution: “I’m going to kill you because you killed my brother”.
Anticipation: “I’m going to kill you because I killed your brother.” (T from the comment is here.)
Diplomacy: “I’m going to kill my brother, then kill you on the pretext that your brother did it.”
We need to stop selling arms to our enemies. Yes, it really is that simple.
It’s perfectly legal to discriminate based on politics. There are numerous court precedents.
Asking for a loyalty oath prior to gun purchase will be used in both directions: at some point the liberals will be back in power, and will use every political weapon you create against you. Which is another reason I’m so disturbed by all the executive orders: conservatives are happy to see them come when it’s their guy doing the writing, but they’re not gonna be so happy when it’s the other team in charge.
This is why government should be limited and weak. The more power you give it when *you* are in power, the more power you give it when *they* are in power.
“This is why government should be limited and weak. The more power you give it when *you* are in power, the more power you give it when *they* are in power.”
What do you think they have been doing the last 100 years?
The communist have been playing this same trick for so long it’s sickening it this point.
And if you don’t like trump doing it. You sure as hell ain’t going like the shooting war the next communist president puts us in.
We just missed CWII by a couple million votes.
And if trump can’t get you’alls crap under control soon. We might get one anyway.
The “legal/illegal, corporate/bureaucratic game is just about over in America.
No matter how much the communists try to push the “Orwellian Window” over it.
J.D. Vance saying; “I don’t care, Margaret.”
Is the rest of America saying; “BFYTW”.
Tit for Tat politics is over.
“This is why government should be limited and weak. The more power you give it when *you* are in power, the more power you give it when *they* are in power.” — John Schussler.
Well, that’s the truth. Lyndon Johnson had similar sentiments when he said “Don’t imagine your people using your shiny new law; imagine your enemies using your shiny new law.” — or words to that effect.
The problem is this limited government has so thoroughly slipped its collar that it will be such a big job to put that collar back on, it looks and feels like a totally undemocratic, anti-liberty tyrannical process.
People don’t like it when you take away their Sinecures.
Gerald Ford: “A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.”
Never been a government that strong.
Only a people that weak.
The Left has already been doing everything they can think of for the last century. There isn’t anything they won’t do for or with power.
Any weapon, tactic, or strategy my enemy uses against me is meet and fit for me to use against him. Turnabout is fair play.
Politics is war by other means.
The whole point of the Constitution is to try and take away some of that “might makes right” element to civilization, so if you think anything goes because at some point somebody did it against you, you’re not a supporter of the Constitution, and should avoid leaning on it for your “rights.” If appealing to the law doesn’t matter because at some point somebody else broke the law so you think now you get ignore it as well, you’re just an anarchist.
Communist shove “might makes right” down our throat at every opportunity. And will continue to do so. And it’s not just “what they did to you”, pass tense.
It’s what EVERYONE knows they will do again as soon as they get the chance.
It’s how communists roll.
And an FYI. No one uses the constitution as a basis of their rights.
The argument is ALWAYS about government infringement.
“Constitutional rights” is a communist red herring to limit human behavior.
I know, I know, it’s called the “Bill of Rights”. That’s because our forefathers had to name it.
And by doing so, locked out tyranny from applying it any other way.
But no rights are found in it.
And we can rest assured the communist upon gaining power will ignore it to the full extent they possibly can.
“No one uses the constitution as a basis of their rights.”
This will come as something of a shock to the folks running the Second Amendment Foundation….
A case could be made the constitution is being used to enforce the honoring of a preexisting right. There is a SCOTUS decision that says the constitution does not grant the RKBA. It merely guarantees it.
And whom do you think “shall not be infringed” is talking to John?
It says a “The right “OF” the people”, not a right “FOR”.
Already there, not granting anything. And telling government hands off.
5A; “The right of a person to be secure in”
Again, not granted, already there. Then goes on to tell the government what it can’t do.
Not one “right” granted in the “bill of rights”.
All about telling government what they’re not allowed to do.
How ’bout 3A? See any “rights” in that one?
Thanks John, I don’t feel so bad about not being able to spell anymore.
You must do a lot of yoga to be able to twist yourself up like that. There’s convoluted logic, and then there’s “The bill of rights isn’t about rights.” Again, I think you’re just arguing against me to be arguing against me. Maybe one day you’ll acknowledge that at least in some (maybe small) respects we’re on the same side. Sometimes.
But don’t worry, I’m not holding my breath.
See below.
Well, they are doing fine with the judge box. Judicial nullification has got to stop
BTW, your resident troll is disrupting reading of the comments on a phone.
Sorry, I always considered myself more of an Ogre than a troll. (Although I have been known to try and breed with the cute girl ones.)
Unfortunately the odds are very high that things WILL devolve to ‘the bullet box’ instead of the corrupted ballot box. The left simply WILL NOT EVER GIVE UP. They intend to rule ALL OF US by any means necessary. And if they believe they need to kill us to rule us then that is exactly what they will attempt. And WE had damn well better be ready for it. History has proven repeatedly that those who seek to rule have ZERO qualms about using violence. We had better have zero qualms or else WE will lose.
“those who seek to rule have ZERO qualms about using violence”
If you think the Trump administration isn’t equally guilty of that I have some beachfront property to sell you. If he delivers on his promise to activate the Insurrection Act and go full martial law, you’re gonna have some ‘splainin to do….
John.
When your old and don’t have much time left. You might realize there isn’t a side. Only what folks are walking into and out of.
Believe it or not, I’m only trying to get folks to see what hard experience has taught me through the years.
As for the “bill of rights”, you seem to be taking it at the face value of a slogan.
Does it deal with rights? Certainly.
But only so much as they control government behavior.
Our forefathers argued against even listing “rights” as such for fear that future governments would act as if they were the only rights citizens had.
And the closest they ever got to it was; “That among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
Everything else is all about resisting government behavior toward existing rights granted to us by nature’s God.
Thinking of it in any other way is buying into tyranny.
Is Trump a tyrant? Certainly.
Was Joke Biden a tyrant? Certainly. (With an army paid for by our taxes.)
Tyranny never gives you a choice of freedom or no.
It only gives you a choice between tyrants.
I stand as our forefathers did. That all governments suspect.
And your problem is that you give others the impression you’re on the side of more tyranny than less.
And around here you will get called on it.
We no longer live in constitutional republic. And I can tell you outright that if Kamel had won we would be in a shooting war by now. Trump is giving us a small reprieve is all.
Joe isn’t digging a new “potato shed” for nothing. And he’s smarter than both of us.
