I Wonder…

Quote of the Day

March For Our Lives is slashing its employees and appointing a new leader.

The gun-control group announced it would cut ties with 13 of its 16 full-time staffers last week.

I wonder, do they have a building which would be suitable for an indoor shooting range or at least a gun shop? I think it would be poetic justice.

Real justice would be their prosecution.

  1. Given what DOGE has been doing and hearing the screaming and whining all over the world, I get the very distinct impression these contracts for contracts were funding a lot of Democrat pet projects third-and-fourth layer down.

One wonders if billionaires were ever putting up their own money? Maybe it’s been laundered taxpayer dollars on “consultancy” the entire time and now its hitting the end recipients. They can’t openly complain about it for fear of revealing the truth.

Regardless, quite happy to see them unemployed. I’d prefer all of them but 80% of anti-gun people whining into the wind about the unfairness of the world is a great start.

    • That was my first thought. There ARE anti-gun people, but because they are leftists they tend to be tightwads and do not donate their own money to the causes they philosophically support, they only want to “donate” someone else’s money. So DOGE and shutting down USAID will likely shutter or dramatically shrink any number of left-wing activist groups.

AstroTurf, as far as the (media) eye can see!

  2. Cool, now do all of gun controls lawyer/legal funds. That’s thinking we can get Pam Bondi up to the reading comprehension level of understanding the 2A, in a constitutional framework.
Under the supremacy clause, and in light of 241 & 242? (I know, tall order.)
After all, the communists weren’t afraid to go after conservative lawyers.
We could have the whole thing wrapped up in months with a new CECOT for communists in Greenland.
We need to go Franko or go home. And when someone calls you a fascist. Tell them.
    Wrong, anti-communist. Pro-American. BFYTW.
Ridding the world of communism is a human right.

There are a small number of companies which provide the infrastructure for indoor ranges; were one, or more, of them to develop fully modular “drop-in” ranges that require minimal on-site reconfiguration of existing buildings I’d wager we’d not only have a lot more places to shoot, the ease of “going shooting” would encourage greater participation – and acceptance – among the populace, and that’s where the pro-gun/anti-gun battle needs to be won for our side.

Think along the line of “everything in a pair of 40 ft containers” for one lane that could be delivered and set up in a day or two. That way a small local gun shop might be able to put a pair alongside the building and offer two lanes to customers, entrepreneurs could drop-in a dozen or more to create an entire “shooting destination” which might make the gun shop itself just an accessory to the range.
