Quote of the Day
People need to learn to protect themselves instead of giving up their liberties to the government in exchange for a “sense of security.” Everyone dreams of a world without killing or murder, but there are those out there that wish harm on their fellow human beings. Disarming everyone on a college campus, or anywhere for that matter, only turns people into targets for a murderer like Cho.

Letter: Gun control may not be the answer | Opinions | collegiatetimes.com
I don’t have anything to say about the content of today’s QOTD.
What I find most interesting is the date. This letter to the editor did not show up in my Google alerts until March 25, 2025.
How did this happen?
When I’m wearing my tin-foil hat, I can believe Google deliberately blocked pro-gun content from their indices. Then, recently, as the political winds changed direction, they decided to remove the restrictions, and the pro-gun content was indexed. The alert then fired.
When I take off the hat and look for other instances of old pro-gun articles showing up, I can’t readily find any.
More than 20 years ago, I got an email from a coworker which had been sent nearly two years before.
Never figured out what had happened but we looked carefully at it and it had definitely been sent on “X” and delivered on “X+2years.”
One IT guy suggested it had somehow gotten caught in some sort of loop, but that was just speculation.
“Everyone dreams of a world without killing or murder.”
Such a person is devoid of intellect. And is stuck in a world of 7th. graders. Mentally speaking.
I don’t. I want a world of justice. Where we kill the murderers. Communists first. Then the invaders.
As Matt Bracken says, “No sense bailing the boat till stop those drilling holes in it.”
As for computer generated time warps. Aaaaaah…… I got nothing.
And as for SCOTUS yesterday.
“It wasn’t a 2A case.”
BS. Everything dealing with a “bearable arm” is a 2A case.
“One of these kits can be made into an unregistered firearm in minutes”.
Ya, almost as long as it takes for a criminal to get real gun on the street. But by all means, lets punish the honest people first.
“Based on the GCA 68.”
Which is a violation of 2A on its own standing. Congress writing it, and SCOTUS sighting it only makes them party to the treason.
“No right is unlimited.”
Correct, Thats why the 2A was limited to civilian “militia” small unit tactics, with “bearable”, arms. Protecting our rights to practice “such”, with “such”, arms, by telling politicians hands off. And any politician doing so is not-with-standing, legally, morally, or any other -ally you can think of.
And once again. If I have a human right to protect my person and friends/family. That includes everybody’s hearing, does it not? Which I decide. Not government.
Our forefathers tried to tell us how evil tyrants can be.
Why on earth didn’t they tell us how F-ing ignorant they would be also?
Self made arms aren’t just -protected- by the 2nd Amendment, they’re -integral- to it… precisely because the courts are so unreliable when it comes to protecting the right to arms.
Cheap Justice Julia Roberts was a disappointment from day one.
Amy Coney Island was always going to be a squish.
As to Neil Diamond, well, I’m a bit surprised, and more than a little disappointed. Thomas needs to bitch-slap him and tell him to snap out of it.
