Progressive Currency: Violence and Sex

Quote of the Day

Progressives fixate on genitalia and sex because that’s the only currency they have. No matter how diseased or obese a progressive is, there’s someone out there willing to copulate with it.

A little something different for Markley’s Law Monday.

This was in the context of a now deleted post on X of a Markley’s Law example. While it is not an example of Markley’s Law, he asserts he knows why they use penis insults. I think that, at best, he is only partially correct.

First, I would not say that is the only currency they have. They also have violence.

Violence is even more widely “traded” by their ilk than the sex. Nearly all mass shooters are democrats/liberals/progressives. And then there was Comrade Stalin – Leader of Progressive Mankind.

I further assert their “trade” in violence is a major reason they want to ban guns for ordinary people. They want to freely “trade” in this preferred currency of theirs. Gun owners impose a rather high “tax” on its use.

I also assert there are multiple reasons for the sexual insults. But the main reason is because these insults would be particularly hard hitting to them.

  1. Given how consistently they equate guns ( violence ) with penises ( sex ), perhaps it could be argued they do indeed have only one currency.

    • Individually, they only have one currency. You just don’t know without further analysis whether that currency is sex or violence, as externally observable, the outcomes are substantially similar.

That would be consistent with the projection. For someone whose sex encompasses violence and other things, or whose violence encompasses sex and other things, and that is their single mental currency, how could they conceive of someone for whom guns are neither inherently sex nor violence?

    • They also seem to think that all sex is rape.

So, you may have a point there.

  2. You could broaden the sex concept to lust in general, which can be lust for anything (not just sex). Avarice, then, and lust, both of which which are related to covetousness. Coercion is of course another major currency of trade. And so, I propose that you can read right down through each and every clause of each of the Ten Commandments as a whole, and therein you will find all of the currencies of the left, both exoteric and esoteric (and of the political right as well, since they are but two sides of the same coin). Therefore, to summarize, it is sin that is their currency; their stock in trade, and they’ll use every form of currency they can get their hands on. Such is modern Babylon!

“And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” Revelation 18:2-4 KJV
