Quote of the Day
We’re going to require responsible behaviors among everybody in the community, and just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn’t mean that we’re not going to walk into that home and check to see if you’re being responsible and safe in the way you conduct your affairs.

Using the 2nd Amendment as sort of a canary in the coalmine seems to work well. If they won’t respect the 2nd Amendment, why should you expect they will respect any other rights? And, of course, once they have sufficiently infringed upon the right to keep and bear arms you don’t have the means to effectively push back when they infringe all your rights all the time.
Another way of looking at it is, if they’re this bold targeting our rights while we still have the one that guarantees We The People have the means to fight back, just think how bold they’ll become the second that one is no longer guaranteed.
Anyone who “walks in” to my house without an invitation will get ventilated, Mozambique style, to the best of my ability.
That would be an interesting experiment. How do we talk them into doing it?
Should we not contemplate the behind the scenes culture that breeds this kind of ignorance?
Think about the conversations and arguments that have gone on for someone in power to come out and say it in public?
Call yourself a constitutional scholar of America jurisprudence. As a lawyer, California AG, Senator, and now VP of the federal government, Kamala Harris is. And think/say something like that?
We’re not the governments enemy. But they have made us theirs.
And they have been working on it for a long time now.
