With news continuing to filter in about the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, the nation’s prominent Democrats expressed relief that Hitler was OK.
Following a busy weekend of making public statements and social media posts clearly identifying Trump as “literally Hitler” and telling the country that he posed a grave threat to the existence of the United States, Democratic leaders quickly made it known how glad they were to find out he was unharmed.
“We’re just glad the greatest threat to democracy is safe,” said House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. “I know just an hour or so before he narrowly avoided a second attempt on his life I posted online about how he was leading the charge to destroy America and had to be stopped, but I’m relieved to hear that he wasn’t harmed.”

Democrats Express Relief That Hitler Is OK | Babylon Bee
To me, The Babylon Bee sometimes is a little bit lame, but this is funny as well as making a great point.
Just think of the BB as the paper of record. Alternatively, you can consider them to be The Prophecies because the most outrageous satire that the publish has a way of coming true a few weeks later.
Satire or no. Of course they want Hitler around. Without him someone might start examining “Stalin’s mistress” and exactly what that will look like with the nuclear football under her arm?
The Bee is good.
But real satire died with 70’s MAD magazine.
Look up the Ajax soap “White Knight”, if you can. The guy that used to ride around zapping laundry on clotheslines. To bright white.
Mad magazine had him riding through a black neighborhood…… Chasing kids.
That’s satire, and comedy at it’s best. We had a national sense of humor back then.
We kind of instinctively knew it was a way to forget about the hard day you just had. And the one you were going to have tomorrow. SNL, Carson, Dr. Demento radio show.
It is, and will be missed.
The Babylon Bee ceased being satire a long time ago and is now a more legitimate source of news than the government controlled media whores.
