The Consequences of Government Harassment

Quote of the Day

Waiting periods were always in bad faith, and never intended to stop violence.

Back in the 80s I would have been fine with a 10 day waiting period and background check for machineguns.

Senseless harassment by government has gotten me to the point of vending machines with them.

  1. That’s funny!
And just wait till people start figuring out that all the rest of the governments scams.
Once you start seeing it, you start seeing it all around you.
Then you figure out government is the same bunch of ignorant thieves your forefathers warned you about.
And the stupidity of the lies. It hurts to think you ever fell for them.
Ya, vending machine/guns, why not? It ain’t like the cartels don’t already have them, plus half the other munitions we sent to Ukraine.
And mostly all bought with government money stolen straight out of your pocket. Or your kids.
Communism is a crime against humanity.
And were about to get a lesson on why that is.

  2. On one side, the number of crimes — be it individual violent crimes or mass-casualty events — that have been prevented or could have been prevented if the “gun control” laws they want would have been in place, is precisely zero.

On the other side, the mountain of evidence — both statistical and anecdotal — that “gun control” laws are ineffective at best, and target non-violent citizens (while leaving violent criminals alone) at worst, is monumental.

Once you realize that, and then realize that the people writing the laws have access to the same information but still push for ineffective laws that target peaceable citizens, you quickly conclude that those people are acting in bad faith. There’s no other reasonable explanation.

And if they’re acting in bad faith, they must be opposed at every turn, and pushed back as hard as we can whenever possible.

I’m at the point I want vending machines that DON’T use AI or facial recognition, DON’T record the sale, DON’T run background checks, etc. And I want “Glock family starter kits” — two or three different-size Glock models in the same caliber, six magazines that fit into all of them, and 100 rounds of ammunition — in blister packs at Walmart and Costco.

    • It’s not that they are ineffective; they have negative effect. It’s been amply demonstrated that gun “control” laws increase crime. And this makes perfect sense, since their main effect is to make the streets safer for criminals, by ensuring them defenseless victims. A cynic might say that this is in fact the purpose of such laws.
