I’ve always pictured a gun ban looking like this in the United States.
It would be so great. No more violence. Just peace and trees.

Gotta wonder how many of those guns melted by that “artiste” came from the drug cartels who are pretty much running that country. I’m bettin’ the number is equal to the number of thumbs on one hand.
Nice shovels. They look like they would make fine AK47 receivers. 🙂
Some, no, most of these folks leave me shaking my head in disbelief.
These people are living in a fantasy world.
The problem we’ll have is that they fully intend to have their fantasy impact us with the force and implicit potential for violence of the State.
Pan left, see the mass grave.
Why exactly would gun control implemented by progressives in this country not look like gun control implemented by progressives in Cambodia, USSR, China, etc? You don’t get to different destinations using the same beaten-up “treasure” map.
Those who beat their swords into plowshares will work the land for those who beat the plowshare into swords.
Left a comment over there:
I suspect it would look more like this:

I had a Twitter exchange with that @designmom ditz. She thinks grandfathers are the “gun violence” problem, and all we have to do to solve everything is hold grandkids hostage.
I wonder how many trees had to die to make those shovel handles…
I wonder how many would be forced to dig their own graves with the shovels made from the guns they lost…

“You see, in this world there’s two kinds of people, my friend: those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.”
Excellent…throws all kinds of shade on my pitiful reply over there.
