Even in the more civilized era of the ACW, we had Sherman’s March and scorched Earth tactics. To believe that it would be a mild “reset” is the best possible scenario and not too likely though.
People with military experience have stated that recent civil wars are very, very ugly. We must pray that the insane Left does not provoke us into one. They will lose badly, however, the cost will be high.
