p.s. my most prized possession is an argentine model 1909 mauser, made by dwm. i don’t know the exact year of production, (scope bases) but, the serial number is d 2xxx, so i suspect it is not “too young.” (yes, a model 98 mauser, probably over 100 years old.) it has a pac nor barrel on it, chambered in 7mm rem magnum, and shoots very well, thank you.
it just seems to get better w/ every passing year.
i believe i’ll wait a couple more years before i “shoot it.” laughing.
