There are always people who are convinced there is a rational, polite, gentle and civilized way to stop a violent sociopath from raping their eye sockets.
We call these sensitive souls “Morons.”

They’re not morons.
They’re food.
Or self-propelled, disposable, toys.
still laughing with the post, & comment. well said. hamburger is hamburger. grilled, fried or baked.
Not necessarily on the topic at hand, but on QOTDs generally.
Saw this in the comments over on the Volokh Conspiracy and thought it would be an excellent candidate for a QOTD:
“Okay, yea, I’m armed. But I stand here before you a whole person. Why, then, do you insist on valorizing my holstered firearm–fixated upon it, in fact, as if it’s some kind of sheathed man-clitoris, ready to emerge, autonomic, at the slightest arousal? Frankly, you’re creeping me out.” — Bill from Vegas
What’s ‘valorizing’? That’s a new one on me.
Other than that, I like the quote 🙂
According to Wiktionary:
1. To assess something as being valuable, positive, worthy, or admirable
2. To fix the price of something at an artificially high level, usually by government action
Neither of them seem to fit the context, though it certainly is tempting to apply meaning #1.
In actuality they are called words this site will not print.
