500 rounds of 9mm is cheaper, faster and also allows for a few entertainment kneecappings.

[If it were only that easy to solve the problems in Washington Phil would need several semi-trucks to haul all the donated ammo to D.C. with him.–Joe]
My truck is rated for 20000lbs, and weighs 7500 with a full compliment of fluids, fuel and myself (leaving 12500lbs for cargo). I’m not sure how much a box of 50rnds of 9mm weighs, but if someone out there does, it would be comforting to know if I need to get overloads installed so that I could also make a stop at the IRS once I reach town.
I just weighed some empty cases and came up with a spread sheet based on normal powder charges and various bullet weights.
For 124 grain bullets it’s about 37000 rounds per thosand pounds of weight. So if you only take a partial load of 10,000 pounds you should have enough for 370,000 rounds. It’s probably not sufficient to eradicate the pests but it should be more than enough to get their attention.
Ok, what can I do to help?
B Woodman,
You’ll have to ask Phil. I’ve already contributed all that I care to for this particular project.
