Judge agrees, Democrats oppose the 1st Amendment too

Good news!

Via Stephen Gutowski we have this report:

A federal court ordered Los Angeles to hand over more than $100,000 to the National Rifle Association after ruling that the city had violated the gun-rights group’s First Amendment rights.

We have to take the offensive against these tyrants. It’s nice to have judges who enforce the constitution.

  1. The moral of the story is to not wait until the statute of limitations is staring you in the face, so you can dismiss and refile if you get a Leftist shill as a judge. Forum shopping is sauce for the gander as well as the goose.

  2. Taking the offense requires criminal charges against the bad guys. 18 USC 242. Of course, we would need a DoJ, that actually upholds the law instead of plotting coups and covering them up.

  3. The problem is a $100K judgement is insignificant to an entity as large as LA.
    Such a payment comes out of PETTY CASH!. This award was a wink and a nod
    from the courts….NOT the thumping that should have been handed down for the
    abuses committed by LA.
