Quote of the day—Craig Coelho

The only way Republicans are going to come to their senses is if people start dropping their leaders with weapons which should never be available to the general public. SmartenTFU

Comment to House GOP pushes to loosen gun rules
[So…. people are only considered sensible if they advocate the infringement of the specific enumerated right to keep and bear arms.

This is what they think of you.

And the not so thinly veiled threat of violence. He must be a “progressive”, violence is in their nature.—Joe]

  1. I’m not sure that people shooting the Republican leadership will be thought of as a bad thing by many Republicans.

The leadership isn’t exactly covering itself in glory in the eyes of the voters.

Considering that it’s more than likely that a Republican Governor will appoint the replacement… I don’t think we’ve anything to actually lose should the Republican leadership start dropping like flies. It might even end up being a net-good.

Seeing that it might not be a net-bad then picking up the phone or getting behind a keyboard; rather than loading up the rifles; is what sets us law and order types apart from the savages.

  2. No dichotomy there. The people should not have the very arms that they need to drop tyrants. Now whether you believe the Republican leadership is tyrannical or not, this guy still fully impaled himself on the horns of a dilemma.

  3. Progressives, Liberals, Leftists, Socialists, whatever they’re called, they believe that if you don’t do what they tell you is good for you, force and violence are their proper response (not yours, only theirs). Hitler said in Mein Kampf that force and violence were the only way to resolve disputes between groups. I guess he wasn’t a believer in Hegelian dialectic.
What’s the recent survey of college “students” finding? That 19% of self-identified Democrats believe it is appropriate for them to use force to shut up speech they disagree with?
Free speech for me but not for thee, thou speaker of hate!
I thought college was supposed to teach you ways to resolve disputes by means other than going to war.

Hate speech is the exception that swallows the rule, to use a cliche’ from Constitutional Law class.

  4. As always, the threat – to life and limb of elected leaders! – is done coyly, with deniability. We will only have progress “if people” start doing this. If anyone actually did take up arms against our leaders – at a baseball game or something – this jerk would be the first to say he has no legal liability for provoking violence.

In other words, Craig Coelho wants Somebody Else to do the dirty work he advocates. I’ll take him seriously if he takes his own advice.

    • Of course he wants somebody else to do his dirty work. Most prog/libs can only dream of what they want as they’re cowards and they know it.

But, do take him seriously sir.

Julius Streicher was hanged for producing Nazi propaganda.
Not that he didn’t need his neck stretched (personally I would have gassed him; Slower, more horrible, more ghastly…on purpose, i believe the phrase is: punitive and exemplary)

But, past his joining in the “Beer Hall Putsch” there there is no evidence he committed any physical acts of violence while a member of the NSDAP.
