Quote of the day—Animal_Poet

I think it’s time to put the 2nd Amendment remedy to work to solve the problem of NRA members and enthusiasts and supporters who still live. Time to turn those guns on their owners. When there is not a single gun or bow owner living in the land, then all human and nonhuman 2nd-Amendment victims will be safe. A weapons-free nation will be a safe nation. An NRA-free nation will be achievable by ridding the nation of NRA members and its cohort. The rest of us — and I include our precious nonhuman Earthlings — will breathe easy and get on with it. Leftie pinko tree-hugging vegan — and proud of it.

  1. As much as I love the comedy Idiocracy, it misses out in realism, in that if society became that feckless as a whole, somebody would simply roll in and take the land for themselves.

I mean it’s not like the Native Americans were stupid, just the Europeans had guns, technology, and central planning.

You make the United States as toothless as that SOMEBODY will have the common decency enough to put us out of our misery.

  2. So an anti-gun genocidal comment is in response to an anti-gun post based on an outright fabrication of a black man’s words.

It’s really turtles all the way down with gun controlers isn’t it?

And bows too? Gee what next? Knives? Thumbs?

Also is it just me or are the antis embracing the “anti-hunter” sentiment? I know they’re desperate to get popular approval, but that seems to defeat their facade of “Oh we’re not against responsible gun owners like hunters and sportsmen.”

It sort of defeats their “divide and conquer” strategy if they focus their ire on hunters too.

      • After bows it will be knives. check out (f)GB and the “Knife Culture”. And of course after that will be wrenches, hammers, old ladies carrying nine-irons around as walking sticks, rocks, sticks, and sand in socks.

And the opposable thumb privilege? Check out Heinlein’s “Farnham’s Freehold”.

    • “Gee what next? Knives? Thumbs?”

I keeled a man, using only *this thumb*!

(If you haven’t seen Ratatouille, then you won’t get that joke…)

  3. I’d just like to point out that this Animal_Poet is calling for the outright murder of all police and members of all the armed forces.

I left a comment saying as much on the article, but I expect it will get deleted.

      • All right, I got through, and she bit. And she’s using the classic “I didn’t actually say what I said, because I didn’t use the words ‘police’ or ‘military’, so you’re wrong.”

To which I replied, “So, to summarize: you are okay with state-sanctioned killing of humans by other humans (police and military), but you aren’t okay with anyone else who kills, even if they’re killing in self-defense or for food.
        Is that your position?”

Yeah, she’s a retard, but it amuses me on a slow Saturday afternoon.

  4. “Time to turn those guns on their owners.”

How does this poet/genius plan to make that happen? What scenario does he envision, wherein all the totally unarmed are going to stroll up, whisk the guns owners’s guns away from them, and then shoot them? I want to see the animated video of his exact fantasy.

Anyway you look at it, this proves that it is not about whether people should have guns, but who should have them.

In the fantasy mass murder scenario, obviously someone must have guns with which to murder all the gun owners. Since the animal poet kings find guns distasteful and wouldn’t know how to operate one anyway, they envision some Strong Man, or army of poet Storm Troopers who are completely subservient to the Strong Man, or some magical force that will swoop in and kill and ruin and kill and ruin until all the problems of the world are solved.

In short, this is a God fantasy. Animal_Poet is longing for a savior. His savior is of course one of death and destruction, but there it is. So essentially he’s a jihadist.

  5. Basically, ban all guns and bows, and kill all the gun and bow owners and hunters. Then the deer and elk will be safe.

I’ll leave Animal_Poet to make sure the bears, cougars, and wolves (the four-legged kind) get the memo. Let me know how that turns out.

Also, better ban fishing poles and nets, lest the mass murder of salmon and trout (“hook violence”?) continue unabated.

    • Ultimately, exterminate the human race, which is a stain on an otherwise pristine and perfect Earth where no suffering exists and the lion will lay down with the lamb.. Humanity will be represented only by a miniscule clique of The Enlightened of course, who will live in a simple and perfect harmony with Nature for all time.

Which, when you think about it, is the leftist/secular version of Judgment Day, or the Final Battle of Armageddon, followed by the coming of a Savior and then Earthly Paradise. ”Captain Planet, he’s our hero, gonna bring pollution down to zero…”

  6. I’m not too worried. The stench of patchouli will give away this loser long before we’re in danger.

  7. Gee, Poet, does it hurt to be that stupid? Remember, we’re the ones with the guns, so any time you’re feeling froggy…

  8. it would be easy to turn guns on their owners. Just reprogram them all. Jeez, do you guys even read the Huffington Post or Vox? Bunch of low-brow idiots, don’t even know how guns work.

    • Wouldn’t it be easier to have all the guns turn up their Evil Mind-Control Rays [tm], so that all the gun owners would spontaneously shoot themselves?

While your solution would certainly work, it requires the gun to change its mind in some way. My solution simply amplifies the essential nature of the gun.

  9. Other than attempting to avoid stooping to their level, why are we as gun owners not seeking out and publishing the person information of these “people” that are advocating the murder of untold millions of Americans?

    • That may have been poorly worded, I’m not advocating violence, merely the public shaming that SJW-types are so fond of.
