I do not have high expectations for the intelligence of people advocating gun control. I have a decent sized sample with online debates and some face-to-face discussions. Many were sincere, probably nice people, but very naive. Some were smart, well trained on the subject, and when you pushed them just a little bit the anger and evil came oozing out. Some were just dimwitted.

He could only have demonstrated his stupidity and social cluelessness more effectively by doing something like clubbing baby seals for gun control.
