About 45,000 launches later, and we can have 2,500,000 tons of spinning metal at the L-5 point, all alone in the night.
Or be smart about it and grab metallic asteroids already in space and use them to fashion structural members rather than lifting the whole thing. Frankly, the lift is better spent putting refineries and smelters and forges in space, not a lot of structural members.
