Those arguments don’t persuade gun control advocates, who say the bill would create a new market for people to buy powerful weapons without typical safeguards, such as a background check, or even to transform the devices into weapons that could kill.
“What it’s about is not law enforcement. It’s creating consumer markets for average, everyday people to go and buy these kinds of weapons,” said Kris Brown, president of the gun control group Brady.
State laws, not federal laws, regulate police weapons procurement, Brown pointed out. Gun control advocates are also concerned that recategorizing an entire group of weapons gives manufacturers such as Axon a blank check to create new types of weapons that would be exempt from the safeguards that usually apply to guns, such as background checks and serial numbers.

Legislation Would Exempt Tasers from U.S. Gun Laws
In case it wasn’t clear from the last 60 years of conflict with anti-gun people, it is not just guns they do not want you to have. They do not want you to have any defensive tools. Not knives, not tasers. These people are evil.
Prepare and respond appropriately.
That is why they harm children- they get off on hurting the defenseless. That is why pizzagate, all the child sex-trafficking, the Diddy parties, and other wickedness has been in the news recently (and us tin-foilies have been talking about it for much longer). So of course they want adults disarmed, so they can do they same to them more easily, and make them submit.
There isn’t a better, simple, easy-to-understand definition of evil that “likes to hurt kids”.
So can I get my Blooper or not?
They want power over people. That is their desire, at least the ones who drive this stuff.
Therefore, they want those people to have no defenses. Defenses might prevent and weaken their power over those people, you see.
The root is the desire for power over other people. Power for it’s own sake, no matter the justifications they tell everyone (and often themselves).
And yes, “evil” is the term.
The real problem is that those in power still think there is some kind of “happy medium” to be found with democrats.
Democrats are communists now.
And that creature has to be dealt with in a totally different manner than we are used to.
The paradigm shift must be away from standard constitutional mannerisms. Those will not work on communists.
If they did, communism would not exist as we see it in America today.
To fight back we have to resort to the age-old, time-tested, ways our fathers told us we would need.
Then wrote the 2A into governing law of the land as a guidepost for when the time of need would arise.
Our problem is we refuse to except the reality before our very eyes.
They tell us plainly they want us disarmed and dead.
And we allow someone with that attitude to walk our street. Steal whatever they want. And rape the most innocent among us. And lord over us in the smallest of matters.
People who believe in gun-control have no longer a place in honest society.
It never was a genuine argument in the first place. So their fraud has voided the social contract.
Maryland requires a background check for pepper spray and stun guns and requires carry permit to carry them. I’m glad I left them long ago.
