The two useful things I did get from Walton’s post is that he and his tribe view gun owners as their enemy and he considers the U.S. in a state of civil war. That will guide their actions. Prepare appropriately.

If it ever does kick off, it will be interesting to observe two things:
1) How quickly the Left realizes “it ain’t working out for us” and;
2) The willingness for the Right to press on to conclusion* regardless of the Left’s whining, begging and claims of “change of heart.”
* “Conclusion” means “blindlingly obvious need for total unconditional surrender with irreversible terms, all the way down to below the bottom of the ranks” not the “olly, olly in free” crap politicians are so good at. Japan, belatedly, figured out that what little semi-functional rubble they had was headed for vaporization if they didn’t fold. March 9-10 1945 had 279 B-29s incinerating 16 square miles of Tokyo; given the effectiveness of one bomb (twice), and that the U.S. had 400 B-29s at its disposal, the idea of one plane/one bomb/one city carried some rather convincing weight.
I am convinced that success over the American Left will require a modern day version of that March 9-10 Tokyo raid, probably not involving building structures but certainly involving social structures and people. (The Real Challenge (TM) will not be the initial kinetic success but the long term, permanent resolution of the mental and social conditioning that allowed creation of the problem in the first place and will promote the resurrection of it .)

Yes, we are headed for interesting times. Here in WA state they are pushing a whole string of new gun control bills, an income tax, and more new stupid regulations that I can shake a stick at. If nothing changes dramatically by this next election (like an end to all-mail-in-ballot-fraud with the Feds requiring and enforcing one person, with ID, to cast one ballot on election day), I’m going to need to accelerate my move out of the state significantly, so I can get out before the Big Crash ™. [that’s where the state gov’t does something so stupid that MSFT, AMZN, or BOE totally pull out of the state, leading to a budget crisis and housing prices cratering]

As such, Trump could get every hard-core Democrat and Leftist working to support his agenda by simply implying that he thinks what he wants is a terrible idea or that what he opposes is a great one. He could get Leftist-run cities to fully fund their police (IOW, permanently end “Defund the Police”, which is one of the Left’s ideological cornerstones) by saying that local police can’t do the job and the feds need to step in to replace them. They’ll fund the police just to keep Trump Administration feds out!
The Left is literally and openly supporting violent criminals, human traffickers, pedophiles, systemic entitlement fraud, and theological dictatorships that actually hate them. Read that again. They didn’t engage in this hard-core level of activism before Trump started opposing and cracking down on those things.
I firmly believe Trump could direct their actions by telling them to do the opposite of what he wants them to do, and I believe many/most of them are so blinded by TDS-fueled hate that they won’t see it coming.
