We live in interesting times.
Even if we dial rhetoric back by 50%, to compensate for the likely political exaggeration, it is still a big deal. I wonder if we can get some prison time for a bunch of politicians out of this. I’m rather down on politicians. I think sending lots of them to prison will make the world a better place.
Certainly not the greatest. I’m pretty sure Enron was bigger, and there are plenty of others, including the massive fraud of subsidies diverted during the Covid panic, creation of the Federal Reserve, Social Security, and others.
So yes, it’s big, and politicians and others should be jailed.

No matter how bad it looks the reality is much, much worse. No one knows how many Somalis are in MN; even the Biden-cabal admitted to at least 100,000. But since another couple of hundred thousand have come over on short-term or tourist visas and then simply got absorbed into the Somali enclaves the probable count is at least 400,000 in MN alone. The federal government, aided (for some bizarre reason) by the Lutheran church has created little “Snowmalias” through the state. The biggest is “Little Mogadishu” in Minneapolis which is a de facto sharia law area that is a no-go zone for the Mpls. police. They have also created enclaves in a huge number of smaller cities through the state like Faribault and St. Cloud, where the native population is rapidly outnumbered by the unassimilated Somalis.
When Martin Sabo was forced by old age to give up his lifetime sinecure of the 5th District US House seat he attempted to give it to his chief of staff. At the DFL primary (the Dem-wing is called “Democrat-Farm-Laborer” in MN; we normies call them “Difflers”) a low-level Nation of Islam thug named Keith Muhammed X. Ellison manipulated the primary process (which is the REAL election in MN) and won his seat. After only a few sessions of grift and graft he realized that to fulfill his ambition to establish sharia law throughout MN he was better off by becoming the MN State Attorney General. He hand-picked his successor to the 5th District seat, a little known Somali grifter named Ilhan Elmi, who had earlier re-named herself Ilhan Omar in order to illegally enter the country under that name. Yup, there’s that connection between the state AG and the rancid piece of America-hating garbage who is quite probably involved in this latest graft.
How did the Somalis get so far in their (probably over a billion dollars worth) of corruption? It was blatant and obvious to literally everone involved, but somehow law enforcement never even noticed it. Gee, I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the highest law enforcement official in the state was up to his eyebrows with campaign donations from these thieves, and that he has extensive connections to the Somali criminals running these scams.
I’ll tell you honestly that if we were still living in the Heart of the Hive™ of SW Mpls I’d be reluctant to post this. Houses get Molotov-cocktailed and people mysteriously die there if you’ve got the wrong sign in front of your house. But we became political and economic refugees from the Soviet Socialist State of MN right after I retired.
Powerline has been covering this corruption without anyone in the lame-stream media noticing for YEARS, and I’m kind of wondering why it took until now to garner any nationwide attention. Everybody who lived there knew about it. A popular meme has been to note that if the fraud is this bad for corruption, what’s it like for voting? Again, everybody knows it’s been much worse for decades, since they passed the “motor-voter registration”. Anybody who can pass a driver’s license test is automatically registered to vote. My best guess is that with something on the close order of 400,000 Somalis in the state that the Dem-wing has actually courted them and actively turned blind eyes towards the corruption, because that’s how they stay in power.

I have relatives by marriage who went through the legal immigration process and eventually became citizens. One of the things I recall is that their “sponsor” had to sign an affidavit that the person would not require public assistance. It was basically an agreement to support the immigrant if they couldn’t support themselves. My relative by marriage is well educated and works in a growing industry, nursing, but if nearly all of these Somalis are on welfare, why haven’t they been deported? Why haven’t their “sponsors” been prosecuted for fraud. If they’re “refugees” aren’t they supposed to apply for that status at the nearest safe nation to their country of origin? Wouldn’t that be in Africa still?
