Deep down, I think most people know you can vote your way in, but you to shoot your way out. This is just another data point confirming that hypothesis.

I would like to welcome all the new gun owners Mamdani has created over to the right side of history. I think the NSSF should send Mamdani a thank you card on behalf of all the gun manufacturers.

  1. That’s an updated version on the observation, a couple of decades ago, that Teddy Kennedy was the gun industry’s best salesman.

    • Bill Clinton got me into guns.

      Hillary and Obama were also instrumental in huge gun sale numbers.

      • People forget just how close we were to losing it all in the late Nineties. When Smith and Wesson cut a deal to avoid being sued by the Clinton regime, it seemed like the beginning of the end.

        And indeed it was…. for the gun control freaks. Because gun owners chose to boycott S&W rather than live in the dystopia they had planned.
        Once its British owners had to sell it for pennies on the dollar, the message was clear: WE’RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT!

  2. But these people keep voting for Demonrats. I just don’t get it. Arm yourself against the same party you support without question???

    • It’s a common question any time an historically-Left voting bloc starts to exercise their 2A rights.

      “Okay … but how do they vote?”

      And there’s no easy answer; far too many of them don’t see the disconnect.

    What we fondly refer to as the “law of unintended consequences”. And I wouldn’t put much stock in it. They will turn right around and want you to give them up as soon as the mood suits them.
    And never forget who opened the “Gates of Toledo”.
    That’s the problem with both Jews and muslims, they live by the rule of “fatwah”.
    What the rabbi or cleric decides the good book tells them today, is what they do.
    And the fact that the smartest people on earth are just now figuring out what our forefather knew when they wrote the 2A, and Mao proved up on in his speech about power coming from the barrel of a gun.
    Tells us what we already suspected.
    But in spirit of true “cowboy the F’ up”, American fashion.
    All I can say is; “Welcome to the f’in party pal!”

  5. It’s really alarming how often we’re seeing communities feeling the need to arm themselves for protection in the face of growing political tension. The fact that a shift in leadership can trigger such a response speaks volumes about the state of security today. It’s definitely a reminder of why the Second Amendment is so crucial.
