This is what they think of Republicans.
It should come as no surprise to anyone that President Trump does not have much respect for anything Democrats say or think about him. Which, of course, inflames them even more.
It is difficult to back down from this level of rhetoric.
Prepare appropriately.
What many on the left don’t realize is that for many on the right, Trump -IS- the moderate, electable version of what they’d prefer, they guy with more rhetoric than hard-line action. The term TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) is used for a reason. If he fails, and doesn’t cement in at least another few years of gains for after he leaves, then the left will not like who rises into the mess that will follow.
Pinochet or Franco will be the model, but more thorough. No martyrs, just have the problems vanish in the night. Not nearly as nice as Trump, but with less bombast.
Meanwhile Trump is ignoring posse comitatus and deploying soldiers in American cities led by Democrats to suppress any dissent that might arise (not any red cities, mind you, just the blue ones…it’s purely political and has nothing to do with crime), he’s pushing to gerrymander as many states as possible so we don’t have free and fair elections, and weaponizing the DOJ against his enemies as his personal revenge department.
All things that if a democrat did them would have republicans losing their minds. But because hypocrisy rules the day, there’s no objection to obvious fascism.
Oh and did I mention he’s in the Epstein files? He’s totally in the Epstein files. The republican party is now the party of pedophilia. It’s like the Catholic church, but without the funny hats.

You have to be a special kind of special to think that if damning evidence against Trump was in the Epstein files they would have not spilled it by now.
And you’ll be any even more special kind of stupid. When they are released and magically only democrats are in there.
If he’s not in the files, release the files. If I were being accused of being a pedophile and knew the files would exonerate me, I’d be pushing to release them. So the fact he doesn’t want them released seems like a pretty strong indication they’ll be bad for him.
Republicans claim they’re all about punishing pedophiles and fighting sex trafficking right up to the point it’s one of their own in the crosshairs (and probably many more).

After all this time, with the files in the hands of so many people and administrations, what makes you think the files have not been corrupted or even wholly replaced or fabricated?
That’s why Trump was talking about releasing the grand jury files, which have been sealed and in only one set of hands, rather than the FBI-handled Epstein files.
Do we know that they’ve been through many hands? How many? And the pictures and video? And the eyewitness testimony? I haven’t seen anything that tells me much about actual chain of custody.
And on top of all that you have Trump’s own behavior out in public. Dude is a total pedo. He’s made so many vile comments about girls and women (and his own daughter!) on top of his actions at the beauty pageant he bought, I mean, he’s basically convicted himself. The Epstein stuff will just be the final nail in the coffin.
It’ll be 100 years before republicans can claim the least bit of moral legitimacy around the character of their candidates. Like the Catholic church, this ain’t gonna wash out.

And it’s not without merit…Seattle has huge groups of people who are so concerned with purity tests that anybody with even the slightest inclination towards centrism is immediately ostracized, and any potential for reasonable discussion is made impossible.

Communism…by definition is like islam. Incompatible with any and all other ideologies. ESPECIALLY ones that espouse personal freedom. So whether or not we should exterminate China is debatable but eradicating Chinese communists is no less necessary in the defense of freedom then eliminating American communists. It is QUITE LITERALLY us or them in their ideology. It is the bane and downfall of any “free society”. To be one means we are supposed to allow those who seek our destruction free reign and a free hand. Reality sucks don’t it. Makes living in ivory towers difficult, at best.
