Last month James Carville made a bold claim. The basic message was:
Democratic strategist James Carville believes that Donald Trump faces a “massive collapse” in just 30 days, adding “it’s over.”
So… Was Carville correct? Or is it what I suspected, just wistful thinking on his part? Or perhaps it was an effort to encourage the general public to trend in that direction.
Or just trying to stay in the public eye.
Was Carville right? No of course not. Carville‘s goal was to stop the bleeding. If every single thing the people on your side does is stupid and counterproductive, the best thing you can do is get them to stop doing it. And the best way to get them to stop doing it is to give them a reason they can accept. They can accept “Trump is so stupid. He will do something insane and discredit himself.” They can’t accept “stop being fucking idiots, everything you do makes us look worse,” even if that is the absolute truth.
Just trying to control the narrative, IMHO
The real point is that once you see it, you can’t unsee it. The younger generation is seeing it now. Communism doesn’t work for anyone but an elite few and those they favor.
The same as every system the commies point an accusatory finger at.
Even if what Carville said was remotely true. Trump is not the democrat-communist parties problem.
We are.
And there is no way for Carville and his fellow traveler clown-show to get people to un-see what has been exposed as communist.
Carville is pure communist hopium.
And Trump is going to keep forcing communists into knee-jerk reactions on 90/10 issues until they collapse.
And Jimmy, if Trump collapsed in 30 days?
You’all would have a civil war on your hands. With you and your party a bunch of trans-gender pride flags to hide behind.
Communist should be more careful what you wish for.
“Communist should be more careful what you wish for.”
Why? It’s not, for the leaders.at any rate, their own lives any more than their own money that they’re willing to spend. Unless we’re talking a full-on hot civil war, in which case many will still have (or think they have) an “out.”
Yes. The ways “out” have not been as guaranteed as they used to be. Certainly not since 1940 when Lev Bronstein met the pointy end of the ice axe in Mexico City.
Trump is not the democrat-communist parties problem.
We are.
As another blogger has pointed out since Trump 1.0: Trump is an avatar.
As much hate and vitriol as the Left spews his direction, they don’t really hate him so much as they hate what he represents.
What he represents is us.
There’s not a single thing they say they want to do to Trump that given their druthers they wouldn’t also do to any of us for supporting him (read: opposing them).
Not. One. Thing.
It has now been 30 days. Trump’s approval ratings are holding strong. https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/trump_administration_second_term/prez_track_mar26
