Here I Am, Stuck in the Middle

Quote of the Day

The FBI has arrested an Afghan man who officials say was inspired by the Islamic State militant organization and was plotting an Election Day attack targeting large crowds in the U.S., the Justice Department said Tuesday.

Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, of Oklahoma City told investigators after his arrest Monday that he had planned his attack to coincide with Election Day next month and that he and a co-conspirator expected to die as martyrs, according to charging documents.

It is not enough that we have tens of millions of native-born U.S. citizens believing violence is justified to get their way on election day. We also have terrorists wanting to kill large numbers of people as well.

I want to be in an underground bunker in Idaho by election day.

  1. Figuring out the mechanics of voting is a challenge. We are all vote by mail here but I don’t trust the postal workers union to actually deliver ballots from a conservative area. I could vote on election day but polling places in conservative areas are a target for terrorist or mob attacks. So it is hand deliver to the county clerk’s office which has a drop box inside. Good for election security but I have to disarm because of the communist judges who have expanded their gun-free zone to the whole facility. I will wait until late on election day, doing my small part to confound the calculations of the vote fraud machine in the big city. Of course, they could opt to just make the rubble bounce.

    • All fine and good.
But I don’t see any winners in this election. Voted for your not.
Who is going to except the results?
Non the less, voting for “f–k off commie”. Is always a good feelz afterward.
I would go to the poles expecting trouble. (Not that I have much to worry about in this part of Idaho.)
But just think, you might get to shoot a terrorist or two. That would make for fun voting!

  2. Now why would an Afgan give a crap about our election? Less someone was paying him to?
I mean, if he wanted to go all Jadhi on the great satan. What the hell has been stopping him? As well as all the other jadhi morons fellow travelers?
Less they getting paid to wait and told what to do?
Must be enjoying the free pizza and porn in that nice hotel room? Probably be the closest he’s ever been to haven.
And why we just catch him right before the election? Less they need to get the fear factor out there for the mostly conservative, show up to vote crowd?
Be ready and be aware of coat wearing barrel-chested Arab types in a hurry to vote.

  3. Why attack a polling place or anything else on election day? That’s the kind of can’t-think-more-that-two-steps-ahead thinking that means you’ll always be on the losing side. So, on-brand for this guy.

No, pick the counting enters in the most populous counties in a swing state, one that is close, especially if it’s a all vote-by-mail state. Break into the counting center when they’re no more than half-way done counting, when they’re on track to flip the vote count blue but not there yet, destroy whatever records you can about the existing count, and burn the uncounted ballots. Wear Black Bloc uniform and blue latex gloves, and burn the entire ensemble somewhere else when you get away. If there are people there in the middle of adding cheat ballots to the mix, kill them, and leave their obviously fake ballots drenching in their blood. We are talking about people that have already decided to do murder and be martyrs, right?

Now you’ve got a contentious election, no way to prove what the outcome is, and both sides think the other side did it. If they try to run the election again, burn it again. Relatively low effort, and you’re more likely to cause the two sides to start doing it to each other with out of state support and things get out of control fast.

Before you think I’m advocating this, you should know that it took me all of 10 seconds to flesh out this plan wearing the proverbial black hat. It’s not unthinkable because I thought it. It’s thinkable because the system we have for elections has had all the safeguards filed off, all the cross-checks weakened, and it’s ripe for someone to obviously spoil the outcome in a way that can’t be reversed and leaves the entire election unquestionably in-question. It’s a better result for the bad guys not to conceal the tampering.

    • Or maybe it’s an Oct.7 type attack all over the country that requires a state of emergency/marshal law declaration? And the status quo government to continue in place till they can sort it out? (As if they ever will.)
The powers know Harris/Walz are boring, even to stupid people hate them. They can’t win. So, how big you going to make the cheat?
Trump pulled in a record amount of voters last time. No one with half a brain believes Biden pulled 80 million + votes.
What if Trump pulls 90 million this time? You going to give knee-pads 100?
Best to crash the election. Let’s face it. All them jadhi’s have been waiting for something.
And satan loves to tell you what he’s about to do. Arresting this moron and printing the story would work perfectly.

  4. Unpossible. Didn’t happen. Nobody who came here from Afghanistan (or Pakistan, or anywhere in the Middle East) could possibly have plotted violence against Americans, on Election Day or any other day.

DHS tells us that every single one of them has gone through a “rigourous” background check into their criminal histories and political and religious affiliations, so we know who is a potential terrorist and who’s not.

And there’s no way the saints at DHS would lie to us about either the background checks or letting anyone in who didn’t pass, right?

    Right?

    • They were screened for jihadi tendencies and released if they had them. The guy in question seems to have been sponsored by the FBI.

      • The guy in question seems to have been sponsored by the FBI.

That seems to be the case with a lot of these people. How many members of any “right-wing insurrectionist movement” are actually feds looking for low-hanging fruit? (Think of the Gretchen Whitmer “kidnapping” case: Out of all the men “arrested”, how many were NOT feds?)

One of these days there will be a case in which the FBI embedded “assets” in a “right-wing extremist” group, launched their sting, arrested a couple dozen “insurrectionists” … that ALL turned out to be “embedded assets”. (Alternatively, there already has been, but we didn’t hear about it because the DOJ flagged the story as “misinformation” to the complicit media.)

Your tax dollars at work, people!
