I don’t get it. I mean, I think I get rickn8or’s comment, meaning there should be no restrictions at all (but there are restrictions, at least on export of some optics) but I don’t get your response, “Be careful what you wish for”, etc. Maybe I’m just extra dumb this morning, but I can’t make any sense of it.
Sorry. I was probably in full engineer mode when I wrote that.
The other solution is to regulate holsters and optics as strictly as suppressors.
I would add that when and if suppressors are no longer regulated, that the pendulum might swing the other way and there could be attempts to mandate them. I don’t know about you, but I really don’t want to deal with concealed carry of a pistol with a suppressor and I don’t think I like how shotguns swing with them.
