I think Abbey also wanted to send the illegal Mexicans home with a rifle and a thousand rounds for each, to finish their revolution. The rich mostly-white guys who run Mexico have been sending their “native brown people” problem across the border for some time, with the approval of El Presidente Jorje Arbusto.
I wanna whack somebody upside the head with my copy of “Albion’s Seed.” It’s a big book. It’ll hurt.
That’s the crux of the problem. Progressives are convinced they have the answers to all of our problems, so don’t confuse them with facts! It’s not just guns, either. Look at the bailout mess. Education. Poverty. Ad nauseum. And now we have The Great One, so pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!
I think of “Brazil” and then remember how life imitates art… sigh….
