Whose Life Will Get Hard?

Quote of the Day

Life is now hard for everyone, not only the stupid. We aren’t in Kansas or the 1980’s anymore. The people who did this to America and the American people have names and addresses. Many of the people they have screwed over are the ones with the 300 million guns they want to confiscate. At some point, those guns will need to be used. Then we’ll see whose life gets hard.

HARD DECISIONS USED TO LEAD TO AN EASY LIFE – The Burning Platform

The total number of guns in private hands in the USA is more than that. Some say 393 million, other say 466 million. And several years ago I recall reading estimates of 600 million. But let’s go with his number of 300 million.

How many jackbooted thugs and tyrants will be neutralized during the confiscation of, say, 10 guns? What if it were only one per ten guns? They will run out of diehard communist SOBs before they make a dent in the total number of guns. And a lot fewer of those useful idiots won’t be participating in the reconstruction of our country. And those who contributed to the hard times yet made it through will likely continue to pay a price their entire lives for their poor decision making.

  1. They have moved on from this technique. Now the banks and health care providers will be the instruments of coercion. No need for the jackboots. Green eyeshades work just as well without the risk.

  2. The problem is that they don’t need to confiscate all guns. They just need to ensure that no one is able to use them without going to prison or getting killed.

All that is required, in the cold light of reality, is for a majority of both houses of Congress to pass a law banning any civilian ownership of firearms, and for the president to sign it. They would also need to tell the Supreme Court that it had no jurisdiction over the constitutionality of that law.

Once they have done that, any use of firearms in self defense would result in prison time. There would be no new gun owners, because they would recognize it as pointless.

      • Joe?
Didn’t Joe Biden just say that over a thousand citizens had been arrested and sentenced to over 800 years total prison time?

        No shots were fired?

        patriot boys, patriot boys,
Whatcha gonna due when the stack comes for you.

        patriot boys, patriot boys,
Whatcha gonna due when the stacks outside for you?

    • They’re already pushing that system about as far as they will be able to.
As their protected class (criminals, mostly black), are the ones that are criminally using guns. But they let them out with little or no penalty. To do it again.
Which makes the rest of us even harder in the no gun control camp.
Cause we ain’t buying the commie crap-think.
Congress cannot dissolve the 2A. They have to live by it. Or they are no longer congress. Legally not-with-standing.
Even if we were willing to give up our guns. Which we ain’t. Cause government has proved to us in every manner they like almost every criminal, (from Wall St. through the defense contractors all the way down to the ghettos they created.), except us.
In short, nobody else cares about the law, especially government, why should I? The bitches can scribble whatever.
      BFYTW, is all they’re getting.

    • A law that says SCOTUS has no jurisdiction over it would be an attempt to overturn Marbury with an ordinary law; it seems dubious that such a scam would work.

      • Really? I recall SCOTUS telling President Biden that it’s unconstitutional for him to forgive student loan debt. He has continued doing it anyhow.

      • It shouldn’t work; it violates so many “spirit and letter” principles of the Constitution — Article III judicial review (as defined in Marbury) for one, separation of powers for another (Congress can’t tell SCOTUS what its jurisdiction is or is not, any more than the Executive can tell Congress what its jurisdiction is or is not) — that it should be struck down, hoisted high for all to see, and the defendants laughed out of the courthouse.

Then again, as Divemedic pointed out, none of those principles appear to even be slowing them down, let alone stopping them.

  3. “Life is now hard for everyone, not only the stupid. We aren’t in Kansas or the 1980’s anymore. The people who did this to America and the American people have names and addresses.”
Yes, and live mostly in cities that are about to get an ethnic cleansing by the cannibal class.
So, hard life about to get much harder, round eye.
    You plan accordingly.

  4. I suspect, were firearm confiscation – or anything that looked like firearm confiscation – to be initiated there would be a rather large cohort quite unsatisfied with the prospect of waiting at home for the arrival of the jack-booted thugs and eagerly employ the prophylactic measure of dealing with the thugs before they showed up.

I doubt it would take as long as 30 days for there to be a sudden and quite complete thug shortage as well as severe depletion of the ranks of thug management. Not that once begun it would stop there; thanks to TPTB there are now, and would be then, no shortage of those Who Deserve Severe Corrective Attention, and as the junior Mr. Bowman pointed out, “after the first one the rest are free” and besides, it’s the winners who write the history so while being on the winning side requires a great deal of work, it might be the rare instance where arbeit macht frei could be fairly applied.

I would much prefer the widespread application of rational thought, reasonable consideration, and responsible behavior, but given the massive shortages there, we shall see what develops; “patience, grasshopper” applies, but patience does have limits, despite the belief among some that it is an inexhaustable resource.

    • “It might be the rare instance where arbeit macht frei could be fairly applied.”
That’s F–k’in hilarious! Thanks bro, I needed that!
I don’t think the government will try gun-stealing. They’re just going to blame us for not giving the new machete caste everything they want.
And keep importing them till were out of ammo?

  5. Yes…the people who did all of this to America DO have names and addresses.
So what. Till Americans grow back some balls, sack up, saddle up, step off the porch and start hunting those names at those addresses they have NO REASON to stop doing what they have been doing for a couple of decades. We certainly aren’t going to VOTE our way out of this insanity.
