Perhaps that’s what he meant to say, but just didn’t get it to come out right. Or maybe he was having a flashback from childhood, of playing “Opposite Day”, during that particular utterance, so that all I’ve done here is translate it. Right, so I’ve done him a favor by helping to keep him out of serious trouble. Surely he wouldn’t want anyone to believe that he’s actually opposed to the very constitution of the United States which he is sworn to uphold and protect.
But as Tirno says in the first comment here, I shouldn’t be granting Biden his only possible legal defense, which is mental dysfunction.
Let’s start by doing away with the Secret Service details assigned to gun grabbers.

Currently his opinion directs (or reflects) the nature of legislation coming out of congress, and he can sign that legislation into law. That deserves more attention than a rat’s ass.
He does what he’s told to do. Nothing more. Deal with the people telling him what to do and he becomes a NONISSUE. His puppet masters LOVE it when people keep their eyes and attention on HIM and not on them. That’s the sole reason for his existence.
I wonder about equating “semi-automatic weapons” with AR-15 type rifles. Yes, the guy often talks about “assault weapon bans” but the phrase “semi-automatic weapon” covers not just rifles but shotguns and handguns too. As we know, most pistols are semi-auto, and if you apply the exact meaning of the term, most revolvers are semi-auto as well.
So he’s basically saying that anything other than a single-shot pistol, a SA revolver, or a single shot or bolt/slide/lever action long gun is unacceptable.
We know the bad guys like to write expansive laws, that may appear to be carelessly worded but perhaps aren’t. I had a lot of fun pointing out to an astroturf self-proclaimed “gun guy” that the Mauser Broomhandle antique he was holding in a photo would be banned by the then-proposed “assault weapon” ban — because its magazine is not inside its grip. Sloppy? Malicious? Given the long and ugly track record, I always assume malice now since it has become the only plausible explanation.
I expect the courts will slap down almost all the gun laws in the next decade or two. It will be 100 years later than it should have been, but we will get there.
