So, why escalate to violence? Because the most dedicated communist agitators have no choice. Walz desperately wants a standdown because Trump has not folded. The deportations continue, and the campaign is not getting the response the left hoped for. Sure, the usual eunuchs (Tillis cannot depart the Senate soon enough) are whining, but Trump is holding firm and forcing the state actors to refuse his reasonable requests, like turning over criminals. The Walz types won’t escalate, but the radicals very well could.
Remember, you earn cred as a leftist by going left. You lose it by moderating or compromising. The leftists have talked themselves into a box canyon: Trump is literally Hitler, so how can they stop resisting? No, there will be leftists who want to move on to direct violent action and plenty of social media supporters to cheer it on. Think of it as an opportunity; the one who goes violent first becomes their hero. They will try to do it for max marquee effect and the lowest possible risk – both in terms of the authorities fighting back and judicial accountability…

In related news, today a co-worker and his wife are meeting me in Idaho to look for property to aid in their escape from Washington state. Prices are outlandishly high compared to what I think they should be.
All that, and their losing their political cover they’ve enjoyed for a hundred years.
Their still strong in the judicial. But for a national movement they ain’t got the numbers. Nor the firepower necessary.
Communists being communist means they move to guerilla tactics in destroying what they can no longer control.
And on that one civilization is way out over its toes. Our “just in time” supply chain coupled with highly fragile infrastructure means we could be in for a hard slog.
The only positive is that the Tik-tok communists of this generation require more of that same infrastructure than patriots do.
But a hard slog seems to be our future none the less.

Agreed, but when you are on fire, can you haggle on the price of the bucket of water someone wants to sell you?
The Left is so full of certified nut jobs in prominent positions of government and influence that will see ‘interesting times’ in the immediate future.
Avoid crowds period. No exceptions. Carry a firearm. Don’t argue. Don’t engage. It’s best to let them destroy each other.
Violence is and has always been an accepted tactic for the left. Going all the way back to the Russian Revolution more than a century ago. It works for them. Because we allow it too. When they win…which is what’s happening, we will have nobody to blame but ourselves for allowing them to do what they wish. And NO…we are NOT voting our way out of this mess.
Would love to leave here for ID, or some other more sane state. Yes, housing/land prices are higher than their historical norm, but compared to King county? Not bad at all. Finances are not quite there yet, but getting very close.
But all that daycare fraud from Minnesota Somalis? Yeah, that’s here in WA, too.
All that election fraud in Georgia and elsewhere? Yeah, that’s here in WA, too.
You know all that tax waste, fraud and abuse in California? Yeah, that’s here in WA, too.
You know all those tech lay-offs happening everywhere? Yeah, they are happening, big-time, here in WA, too.
Sodom on the Sound has finally beat out San Francisco in godlessness, with less than 3% of the population professing to be Christian. The cost of living and housing is stupidly high, it’s very family unfriendly, and the schools are insanely woke. And they wonder why the native-born population is plummeting.
I just hope I can bail before Amazon or MSFT pull the plug and announce they are leaving.
I feel like I must know you. I’ve never heard anyone aside from myself call it Sodom on the Sound. I was able to escape Seattle 8 years ago for the temporary safe harbor of Spokane. Well, that’s going fast along with the rest of the state. Idaho beckons but is damned expensive.

My wife and I considered moving from California to Idaho back in 2020. But in late 2019 she spotted that the housing prices in Boise were cliimbing alarmingly, largely due to other Californians having already moved there and bid up housing. So we changed to our alternate plan and moved to Kansas. When I see the recent economic and political news from California I’m tremendously glad we got out when we did.
Seattle:Two teens murdered this past week – drive by – after school near Southshore school on Rainier Ave South, couple miles from the house. My takeaways:
Murder lives breathes drives in our community
City leaders don’t care
Cops don’t care ( I was spit on by a homeless dude last year in tony Queen Anne mall – cops ignored my call)
The rot in America seems to be a hatred of innocence …
